I for one am sick of the division of America. I feel a little guilty for taking part in some of it via this thread. Seeing that the election results are in, I see no reason to keep posting in a thread that is meant to discuss the candidates of an already decided election.

I'll leave with this.

Joe Biden won't be the greatest president in the history of the US, but I believe he will do some pretty great things. Let's all let go of our political affiliations and come together to help heal the country. We need it.

I am not referring to the protests. Did you not hear of CHAZ? Course it had a few names during it's short life. Think it was also called CHAD.

It was when a group of people, took over a few blocks in Seattle, and declared it an automous zone. Think they called it, Capital Hill Autonmous zone for a time. Hence CHAZ. They had weapons, and some folks died there. They did a lot of damage. And, taking over several blocks and declaring a zone free from America, I would argue could easily be seen as Treason. He is also the president. The leader of our military. If he told the military to storm in, and take the zone back, I"m sure he could easily find enough military members willing to do it.

Well if Biden is the president suppose now I can start that betting pool on to how long until Harris kicks him to the curb and becomes president. That should be fun.

Taking over several blocks, declaring it an autonomous zone, wrecking things, and keeping police out even after murders literally happen is not what I would call "defending" your neighborhood.

I mean, I know I'm a wee bit crazy, but unless certain words have had their definitions changed, I don't see how anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together would consider what CHAZ/CHOP was anything even remotely similar to just people defending their neighborhoods.

But hey, I am a wee bit crazy. Maybe someone changed some definitions while I rambled and mumbled and stumbled around.

You dont know. But your assumption is always the worse. Yet two individuals pointing weapons at peaceful demonstrators walking past their house is lawful use of threat as they are defending their home. Then you think only the best of them.

The pro-Trump supporters open carrying outside counting stations were within their rights to do so. Pro-Biden supporters open-carrying would have been decried as armed interference with the election process, no doubt.

I do know that they did more harm then good. I literally saw bloody photos and videos of the state the area was in when they it ended. I literally saw videos of them being hostile to cops who were literally going into the area to investigate 2 folks who were bloody murdered.

I'm sorry, but to be frank, anyone who would call those results as defending their neighborhood is either a complete idiot, completely crazy, or a troll.

Of course my assumptions is always the worse. I'm a cynic. I assume and expect the worst for most cases. What's your point?

Finally, I don't care what politics you practice or who you support, if you legally obey the law, go and do whatever the bloody hell you want. Biden supporter want's to own a gun to protect his neighborhood? Go bloody nuts.

Because folk have the right to carry until you decide they dont. The rights of the couple to defend their home were not questioned by you. But you can not tell me the rights of the folk inside the CHAZ were not the same. You do not know if they carried to protect their homes and businesses. You do not know if the shootings were justified 'stand your ground' defences. You assume everyone there was a protestor fighting the cops.

Did some fight the cops? Undoubtedly. Do you know their reasons? We have heard in this thread how some will resist cops and military to defend their rights. Do the citizens inside the CHAZ not have those same rights? Where is any evidence ALL there were in the wrong? There is none. Just assumptions governed by bias.
