Do you see that little button in the top right of a post with the exclamation mark you know this !? And when you hover over it it says "report this post"? Well if you use it when you see a rule violation, that let's mods know that you saw a rule violation. Then we can go and look it over, and do something about it.

Amazing right? Well, sadly, if no one uses the report button, we may not always see a rule violation, or might over look it. Because, suprise, the forums are a BIG place, with lots of posts happening, and even someone like me with a lot of free time, can't monitor every single post that is made. So maybe instead of complaining about certain posts not being modded, maybe report when you see rule violation and actually do something about it.

I did not see any homophobic slurs. If they were made I must have overlooked them. Feel free to report them and I'll gladly go and edit and warn them.

I saw the topic went from trump to a lot of talking about polar bears-which is off topic I also noticed some insults, though I did not read every post word for word. I saw enough that I decided to split it from where the topic divulged.

I don't read every post, and sometimes I skim a post if it's quite long. So some things do get by.

Wanna know how to help fix that? Report rule violations. You know, instead of saying a violation happened but never actually reporting it.

Tell me, if you get robbed, would you just complain that the police never helped you while also never calling them? If not, then don't complain that some violations don't get treated while never reporting it.

I must ask, can you give provide the exact words that dman wrote that offended you to the point you were incapable of reporting the offending post. I need to understand how those words were like a physical beat down that would actually prevent you from reporting the call that you used in your analogy.

Here let me fix your analogy since you seemed to mess it up then explain things as simply as possible so that hopefully it get's through that thick skull of yours.

"You walk along with a guy who you know is a drug user and has drugs in his pockets Suddenly a nearby lunatic attacks him. A nearby cop see's this arrests the assaulter but leaves the other guy alone. Then you complain how the cop didn't arrest a drug user, while also never telling the cop that the man was a drug user and had some on him.

Onto my splitting of the topic. The polar bear discussion was off topic. It was a couple pages long and at that point it needed to be split off. I also noticed some insults in what I read and decided to move it to UoH where mild insults are allowed.

Then I mentioned why I moved it. For those 2 reasons. Now again I didn't read every post. I assumed it was just mild insults and banter, since I did NOT receive a report.

Danik has said on multiple occasions that he is leaving (the forums), yet he is still here posting. I honestly don't see why he gets so upset. He complains about people (dman), but then still engages them. He's like a guy who hates and complains about getting punched in the face, but spars with boxers. At some point you either stop complaining about getting punched in the face or you stop boxing.

Yeah, I figured him saying that was a lot like how some folks said they'd move out the US if trump won in 2016. Then stayed when he won. I wouldn't be surprised if he replies here again.

Though if he is gone for good, that's fine by me- He certainly isn't pleasant to talk to.

Edit- back to the topic of Trump, I think he has a good chance of winning. I certainly hope he does. I don't much care for Biden or Harris.
