I think both candidates in the 2016 election, as well as this one, are stupid and most likely corrupt. Although Russia most likely interfered in the 2016 election which is funny because Hillary won the popular vote but the electoral college is stupid so Trump won anyway. Trump also asked the leader of China to "help him win the election" which is highly illegal

Blue, I find it real funny how hypocritical you are. You constantly tell people that "they aren't there, they don't know how it is, so they can't talk" mate, unless you were over there yourself, you don't know how it is either, so by that same stupid logic, YOU can't talk either. Then you go on to say that other's are pure evil for not wanting to let in refugees who are suffering, so Tell me, how many homeless folks do you let crash in your house? I mean, assuming you live in a city, there are bound to be folks living on the street, have you offered them to sleep in your house? Share your food with them? It's real bloody easy to tell others to have compassion and to try to help the world, but the sad reality is, is that the world is full of dangerous and bad people. Some of those refugees are honest, good people, who need help, but some are also dangerous people who we do not want to let into our country. Since we don't have a reliable way of sorting the good from the bad, it's better to prioritize our own safety and well being, and not let the refugees in. Look at some of the violence European countries had when they let in tons of refugees. Some of those refugees were murderers, thieves and other sorts criminals. Ultimately Blue, you are a naive idealist. You have a lot of compassion, but not a lot of sense. Hopefully you get that with age.

I think that we should adopt an open border policy. There's no reason for it to be illegal to enter our country and to do it legally is inconvenient and takes way way way too long as we talked about. Many other successful countries such as Peru, Bolivia, and France have an open border policy and are doing fine.

Do you realize how bad it could be for mexican drug cartels to be able to just walk into our country, with NO border defences or patrol? Once again, yes there are good, honest mexican men and woman who would love to come to the US to work, but AGAIN, there are some really bad folks who we do NOT want to let into our country.

But the good greatly outnumber the bad. I think it's something like 0.00001% of immigrants go on to commit major crimes. I think America is just too paranoid about terrorist or something

Do you know WHY so few immigrants commit major crimes? Probably because our border patrols and security does a good job of keeping the bad people OUT.

We need to make sure that we don't let in killers, drug smugglers, rapists, and other bad people into our country. It's bad enough we have our own criminals, we shouldn't be bringing in more. The good honest people, need to enter legally, and when they do, we should welcome them with open arms. Those who try to enter illegally, need to be sent back, and told to come in legally or don't come in at all.
