N95 dont stop much from getting in.
These types of masks are not sealed or form fitted.
Mask ratings and effectiveness only factor direct pass through the filtering part of the mask. They do not factor the air passing around the edges. If some of that dry wall dust get around the edges and you breath it in it probably not going to have that much effect on you. If a few virons get around the edge of the mask your probably infected.


They can however significantly reduce the chances of a host who is wearing a mask, sneezing or coughing covid into air that may blow on you or get sucked into a vetilation system.

Masks are to protect others from you, not you from others.
Masks reduce potential projection distance of a cough or sneeze. However only If they are worn properly and do not have exhalation valves.

To reduce your chances of getting the virus quickly
Situatitional awareness, good hygene, and a basic understanding of how cross contamination works, is pretty effective in most civilian situations.

For example. after you pick up that can of green beens at the market that someone just sneezed on. Wash you hand before touch your phone and then put it to your face.
Now you might think i did not see anyone sneeze on the green beans. But then again you only been there 5 minutes and they been sitting there all day. I doesnt hurt to wash the can if your that worried about getting it.

In my opinion unless you go full howard hughes,
An lock yourself away from everything and assume absolutely everyyhing is covered in covid.
Its pretty much a dice roll or perhaphs just a matter of time.

I choose to were a surgical type mask. In civilian context they are much more effective than a bandana or homemade mask,
And close in effectiveness to a n95.

Again though if you are in an evironment of heavily contaminated air its pretty much useless. Air can get around the sides of it pretty easily.
It could however save your ass if someone sneezes in your face.


Also masks and bandanas are fairly effective at conceling your identity when you want to vandalize some public property after a long day of protesting.


Hand sanitizer is not a substitute for understanding how to effectivley wash you hands AND THEN DOING IT

Ultimately when you absolutely must leave the house for groceries, theres no substitute for wearing a tyveck jumpsuit, scba, gloves and wellingtons, taped at the seams and unions.
Followed by a full submersion the kiddy pool full of stabilized. chlorine when returning home. Minimum 30 day Quarantine of any purchased items that could not be submerge in the chlorine before use.

my children have all received vaccines mandated by the school system but i am a firm believer in your body your choice
i encourage my children to depend on their immune systems but take taylor for instance she had to get the flu shot because of her position at the hospital ... so she did... her body her choice

if covid comes with a vaccine on a need to go to school basis i will fight the school system while my youngest completes her last year


go look at the success rate of the flu vaccine the rate of people who get it even after the shot is above 50 percent
i can live without the flu or a covid vaccine and have my own coin toss with a lower rate of catching it ... funny how that works huh


as of today my city has 2139 confirmed cases with 17 deaths
the population here is roughly 200k closer to 190k i think but you can figure my odds
im just thankful im not in a dem city like ny who is responsible for about a third of all covid cases
add california into the mix and the people critisizing how things are being done have the most deaths ( and largest pops i know)
woohoo fire up them protestors with some more race baiting see how many more dem voters you can kill

but at the end of the day if its such a pandemic you need to lie about cause of deaths to jack up the numbers

Vaccines are a whole different story and a pretty tough issue, which is why it's hard to understand. While I'm for your body your choice, a large part of the reason you get vaccines isn't for yourself, it's for others. Try googling heard immunity and see what you find. When you get vaccinated, you're not only doing it for yourself, but for your family, friends, coworkers, and anyone else that you come in contact with. Take someone who has an immune disorder for example. They are not able to get a vaccine because of a reaction they could have to it due to their condition, so they depend on others around them to be vaccinated so that they won't get the virus. This goes for most vaccines. Anyhow...

Yes, it's mostly democrats that have been protesting, though not completely because some republicans aren't heartless. But that's just in the city. Republicans voters tend to live in more rural areas. Go to a rural area of your state and look inside a restaurant. What do you see? A bunch of maskless immune-compromised old republicans clustered together at booths as if the pandemic weren't happening. So I think that the deaths per party are equal if not on the republican side.

So wear a mask (we aren't trying to restrict your freedoms, just trying to prevent more deaths.) Know that wearing a mask doesn't really help you, it helps those around you. Not wearing one makes you look like a moron.

The movement is pure racism. People need to be figthing for all one color, not their color. I say kill racism. No colors. Not allowed on job apps, education apps, credit apps, benefit apps. Ect. Applicatins need to be . Submitted using id numbers. If you want an affirmative action program give it to people of mixed races only. Make it a personal responsiblity to reject anyone who cannon see another person as anything but the same. Take pride in your heritage, but it has no place in the future.

Well, racism against whites in the US is a nonissue, so I can't really tell what you're complaining about. You're complaining that people are standing up to systemic racism? That people are trying to acheive equal rights? Instead of viewing people all the same regardless of color (which btw isn't a bad idea, it just isn't the right one) and start viewing them as different but equal. Accept peoples' differences including color, instead of ignoring it. I agree that race shouldn't be on resumes and all that crap, but not seeing color is nothing but ignorant to the problems at hand.
