how bout a bounty board in tavern? So that the weak players can post a bounty against strong players. .what do you guys think?

That sounds like a wonderful idea. How do you feel about a voodoo card that can be cast on self or ally that would send a distress call to one owned fleet which would respond and take your place if attacked provided the owned fleet belongs to a player with the necessary number of Flying Dutchman and turns to respond immediately?

Sure. Did you take my answer for sarcasm. I support your suggestion. The other that I added is something I've been considering suggesting. Consider the new member of a guild, if you will. The Guild Master or an established member of the guild could cast "Distress Call" on the new or otherwise weak member. The caster would then step in and protect the new member, thus showing the would-be attacker that they may be barking op the wrong tree. So, you don't think it is worth suggesting? You may answer here but I am about to message you directly.

im all for it bro. .jus stating the reason for having bounty board more clearly lol. .anyways it will mix it up a bit if we have players bountying each other making it a more fun game. .everybodies input is surely appreciated. .

also to make bounties more realistic and worthwhile for both the parties. .i propose the bountied person would gain 1% fame of the bounty placed on his head per day. .the reasoning for this is while the person is wanted alot of folks talk about him. .this will continue until he is removed frm the list(bounty is claimed by 1st accepting the task in tavern then by attacking one of the wanted guy's fleet)also the one who bountied the offender can also edit the amount whenever he wants. .i think this will improve gaming a bit. .pls add suggestions. .

Thanks to another topic you posted this one (should it be implemented) is destined to fail unless the other is addressed simultaneously.

Too much risk is taken by a Bounty Hunter under certain circumstances. A guild member would be off limits if you get your way there. But who am I to speak? Let's just haphazardly start over-regulating the game and see how much damage we can do to the designer's efforts. We need a compromise that works or our suggestions are at least wasteful of Captain Jack's time and at most a war for dominance that is supposed to be played out in the game instead of the forums.

what we are doing is just suggesting. .it is not a to do list. .it is just a list of what we feel will improve the game. .whether or not he acts on it is not the issue. .the issue is we all care for the game and wish it to prosper. .anyways all our suggestions have probably reachd him already. .and of course he has last say :) dont sweat it bro

Yes, it does seem that he has good judgement but I would hate for a bad idea to be the last one that he read if he were drowsy or stressed while working on PG.
