I don't think I was even around when the glitch was here... I do not remember.

Most players will have more Captains then Merchants or Admirals. As you need 5 captains per Merchant/Admiral to make the best use of fleets

I have way more captains than anything. Go back and look at our figures from the SSTG raid on me. You can post it here if you want. It is a good sample size. I believe I lost way more captains than anything and that in my opinion was due to the amount I have relative to the other categories.

Banger I must of misread what you were saying... my apologies.. We were talking about Merchants taking the biggest hit from Assassins, when you spoke up so I assumed (wrongly) you were talking about them as well.

So you are saying you took the biggest hit in Captains from SSTG?

During a fight with nelson not long ago, he casted 10 assassins on me, 6 merchants, 3 admirals and 1 captain.

I had more captains then Merchant and admirals (pretty clost to 1,1,5)
This is the result of about 5000 lines in my voodoo log but we had that happen before and after:

Lost your concentration (Confuse) 4
Officer type: admirals 34 0.3035714286
Officer type: merchants 59 0.5267857143
Officer type: captains 19 0.1696428571
sum assassins success 112

PS the guy losing his concentration is showing his sharpness of mind on this thread as well.

Lol lets try and cry and fix it so more captains die before we cast ours because we are having little success in bugging him in any other way :D Here are the facts you cast and the outcome is well yep you guessed it the outcome. Crying and whining on the stats not lining up to what you want is nothing more than the foul stench of butthurt coming from the shit happens column. If you want to invoke your will on probability i suggest you go rig your own game up and call it Mercs Mathematical Mess :D :beer :pirateflag

Results prove the true randomness of the card.

Randomness and probability are two different things. Even the equations used in hypothesis testing are different.

To test randomness you need to conduct what is known as a "run test". Probability can be tested several ways.

Math geek in me stepping out now.
