I think this card is a good idea. It gives a new way for traders to boost their profit, probably with another setup than what they would use for "ordinary" trade. It also comes with a risk, since if this card is removed with serenity, the trader will probably light up quite soon.

The trade boost will be rather big if used right, so the cost and crafting time needs to reflect this.

10 pouch of gold EDIT: 2 pouch of gold
3 Forced Labor
3 Military Service
1 Clockmaster (legendary)
2M gold coins
24 hours to craft

60 turns to cast
72 hours duration
Resistance 50Resistance 65 (50% 65% chance to resist Serenity and Purify)

Effect:
All fleets of target player do not gain danger on basic movement. Hostile Natives still works.

I have updated the poll: do you think the cost is too high, too low or about right?

I think this is just about right, but the clockmaster... looks a little like an extra voodoo that is added in just for the heck of it / to add this voodoo you must add clockmaster too.

Here is the current suggestion. We need player's input on this. If you're a merchant, please post whether you would consider crafting this and why/why not.

Recipe:
7x treasure fleet
2x pouch of gold
3x Forced Labor
3x Military Service
1x Clockmaster (legendary)
2M gold coins
24 hours to craft

48 turns to cast
72 hours duration
Resistance 65 (65% chance to resist Serenity and Purify)

Effect:
All fleets of target player do not gain danger on basic movement. Hostile Natives still works.

Cost And Recipe:
Estimated Cost 50 Credits 2m gold and Closkmaster's cost. But after this card implemented prize of recipe cards will increase slightly. And ingredient cards hard to find.

    For example currently only 17 Treasure Fleet in auction. Even now more than two players cant have enough ingredients to craft this card. And its not easy to get Treasure Fleet card in packages too. Only the players who have tremendous voodoo stashs will get benefit from this card. Until the stashs dry. I think not for only this suggestion but for all suggestions the recipe should reflect not only current voodoo stocks also future ones.

    We should consider to decrease popular cards amounts in recipes and add gold bars to balance the prize. This will also help and encourage goldsmiths. And im not saying decrease the cost of cards. make it 2x more expensive but use less cards in recipes.

    This card will bring too much profit to bigger traders and less profit to average traders. which means a traders like Captain D. (No offense:) ) can easily pay 3-4x more credits for the recipe cards. Because he can easily make 10-15m more daily profits. This part is the biggest problem. Most traders cant compete with bigger traders on bidding. This will break the balance of game even more. Thats why im suggesting to use less cards more gold, gold bars and time in recipes.

    Time is most important part for legendary card suggestions. if we want to keep balance in game, time consume should be well planned. Simply a bigger trader shouldnt be able to both keep this voodoo %100 active on him and craft other voodoos he desire.

    Profit And Usage:
    With 5 favorable winds for slowest party card route you will get %20 more profits daily. for fastest party card route you will get %100 more profits daily. Your craft cost will be 12-15m(due to popularity of recipe cards) an average 250-300 ships trader(4lmm 1 howker) can cover card's costs and will be able to make some profits too(ingredient cards prize will determine the profit). For bigger traders who have 600 or more ships can easily make 10m additional daily profits. Which in my opinion will encourage traders to increase their ship counts. More bigger trader means more target for raids. Now viewtopic.php?f=42&t=2671 will be even more necessary. These two cards can effect and balance each other.

    As a Resistance effect i think some cards should immune to purify instead of %65 resistance. When a guild mate will targeted by harmful voodoos i would like to cancel harmful voodoos on him. and my help easily become more destructive than harmful voodoos on him. This is not good to encourage cooperation and help between guildmates.

    As an answer to your question i would like to use this card but will I be able to craft and use it?

        I disagree with this. I would much rather have voodoo cards in the recipes. Also popular ones. An increased demand for cards is good, in my opinion.

        Some cards will only be profitable for the largest traders. That is the case with several existing cards also.

        I agree that crafting time is an important factor. I believe that this should be long for all legendary voodoo. Longer than most suggested prices.

        I dislike the suggestion about giving cards resistance to purify/serenity. Also, if you fear you'll remove "good" voodoo, use serenity instead of purify to clear it. We often add some "junk" voodoo anyway when we cast, just to force someone removing it to use serenity instead of purify - or to use more purify cards.

        Popular cards should be in recipes but the number needs more balance.

        I dont have a problem with that. im just saying making a legendary cards for 2-3 player doesnt feel right. What is the point to build witch hut if you cant even craft voodoos in it? Im not saying all players should equally craft cards. I m trying to say we should keep it balanced. With this suggestion a lot of player can craft this voodoo and use it. but question is how long? when you cant find recipe cards what will you do?

        I voted just about right, per the latest revision,

        I would like to see a longer craft time,

        As the card is legendary the resistance clearing seems about right to me, At first I though it was a bit high
        however, If I wanted to clear this off you its a lot cheaper for me to keep attempting to clear than it is to cast.

        Nice detailed post Mugiwara, I expect that there will be enough variety of legendary recipes that a witch hut will always have options for profitable crafting. Considering all the suggestions we've seen I'm certain there will be so many good legendary cards that my witch hut will be constantly crafting. If a trader tried to keep this card active constantly they will find the voodoo card supply will dry up. I don't see a need to increase the crafting time over 24 hours.

        actually im thinking about to put voodoo packages in some recipes instead of specific voodoos. it will help game for each purchase and will help us to complete recipe materials easily. And about time we should adjust them after suggestions approved. we will see what can we craft and decide the time cost that time.
