Hi, I am Repa (#30031) from Finland and I have just joined the game! Could you help me get started?

I got a message through the chat system by these bots, the only thing that changed what their name and country. One of my guild mates had 5 similar messages

any idea what they are/who is doing this

You can turn off these notifications from your profile page. However, today we will launch a feature where top helpers will be voted by players and earn credits each week so you will have extra reasons to help newcomers, apart from the greatest which is helping the game or getting to meet new people or finding new guildmates.

i'm liking tthis feature. but very few new players seem to be responding. are other people having a different experience. cuz im willing to accept that some peeps just dont feel like talking to me personally

2 of about 10 spoke to me
1 of them turned out to be competitive and invited him to the guild

none of them have talked to me yet, maybe you should explain how to use the chat system in the tutorials

I don't like the feature. The way I see it, someone is thinking for the new players. I don't want to be contacted by players who don't think for themselves. I will rush to turn off these notifications. I would prefer a personal request.

Not sure if this is the place for this, but here I go.... this new feature where I (and everyone) gets AUTO IM's from EVERY new player is SOOOOOOOOO annoying to me and I would guess others, I see the possable worth in doing this, but I personally have tryied to reply to a couple of theese and the player is usually not there anyways. Every time I log on im innundaded with aprx. 10 new IM windows of new players that (usually) arent there anyways... REAL annoying to me..... ANYONE ELSE!!???

Regarding what you report..
Firstly, you can toggle them on or off at any time. (Click on your name -> notification settings)

Now, I have noticed that quite many people go inactive in a few minutes after they log in. Not sure why yet. At any case, this is something we will work extensively on once we finish the advanced features we are currently working on. After all, increasing the playerbase is very important.

Till then, any suggestions feel free to post here.

its probably cause they got confused or they didn't know what the hell to do, same this happened to me but I eventually figured out how to move my ship. I know that there are you tube tutorials but I didn't see them(even tho they are a bit hard to miss) I few other people have told me the same.
