For reference; current starting missions structure

Postby Captain Jack » Sat Sep 14, 2013 2:53 pm

As promised, here is the current structure of all tutorials missions.

At first, the player starts with only the Quartermaster missions. To move on to next one, he must complete the one at hand. All quartermaster missions has a hidden fame award of 1 fame point per mission. So a player with 2 fame at the leaderboard, means that most probably he has finished the first 2 missions and then stopped.

Once the player sinks the NPC generated fleet (at Quartermaster mission #8), the 3 new mission categories open (Merchant, Pirate, Nobility). Again, to proceed to next one, the player must finish the mission at hand in each category.

Here are all the current missions (titles and reward, I have not included instructions and hints/tips to keep it short and easy to read).

If they created their guild, how could they complete this mission?

I hate to throw a spanner in the works but these Tutorials bear no resemblance to the tutorials that I have just played through.

The Quartermaster Tutorials that I have just played through are ....

Tutorial #1: What is Pirates Glory ?

Tutorial #2: How the winner is determined in Pirates Glory ?

Tutorial #3: How do I earn fame points ?

Tutorial #4: How do I earn gold ?

Tutorial #5: Top Right MENU

Tutorial #6: How do I trade ?

Tutorial #7: How do I plunder ?

Tutorial #8: How do I upgrade my ship ?

Tutorial #9: I am out of gold!

Tutorial #10: I am out of turns!

Tutorial #11: What is influence ?

Tutorial #12: Am I a pirate now ?

I don't think the new tutorial system has yet been implemented, or not for your account yet. I'd assume the administration would allow accounts made within a certain time period to still play through the new tutorial system. So we have to wait and see for now.

In this case, they would pass it right away. It is not an actual problem though, as you need 25 000 fame I think before you can start a new guild. Therefore the newcomer will most probably join a guild to pass the mission. Then he can start a new guild, later.

All new accounts all already transitioned to this new system. Also, past accounts with less than 1000 fame points, were also included. This is since July.

(Nivekia) Perhaps the topic title was misleading; I changed it to starting missions instead of tutorials, as they are not mentioned as tutorials anywhere in the game.

Is this list of missions still current or have they changed since it was posted?

I'm engaged in drafting some guild training and it would be useful to know.

How about we have the nation missions on the side as well? That way you get the little popup for reference when you need em
