PG Activity on the rise

I wanted to share some thoughts with our admittedly awesome community. I want to share these thoughts now, that find our game at the PEAK of active players. Which means that right now, Pirates Glory has MORE ACTIVE players than it ever had! To be sincere, we have had pretty similar numbers in January 2017 and June 2017 but this September the numbers are slightly improved. As this comes right after the August small dip (pretty much expected, it happens every year), it makes it more important as it signals a good season ahead.

I want to underline how important this is for a browser game like Pirates Glory. Games like PG do not really survive nowadays. Most have already closed while the leaders are now struggling. Just yesterday, I received another email from yet another browser game which closed (I have registered to dozens of browser games in the past). A good browser game I must add. Still, it has not made the test of time.

It is important, that everyone here realizes, that you are playing a game which technology seems pretty hard to most newcomers. Newer games, work in an entirely different way. Here is an analogy to get how PG might look to some of the really young players:

The achievement we have here is unique. We are growing our numbers. Growth, any growth is a security seal for the future of the game. It is more important for us to gain new players than gaining new "clients".

Still, the fight is on and nothing is over yet. It will be an everlasting battle which we intend to keep fighting. However, besides the traditional game upgrades we need, sooner or later we might need to invest at a new skin for the game. A skin that will connect all these great things you can do in Pirates Glory in an easier to understand and use interface.

Thank you for playing Pirates Glory! Keep spreading the word to your friends!
:y

I'd love to see a breakdown of activity. Number of active players who joined in the last 6 months, active players between 6-12months, 1 year - 2years, 2+

As one of the older players here, I would like to thank CJ and the devs for keeping us informed and providing a game I have enjoyed and played for many years

I agree, Part of the reason this game is still going strong is that the devs are active and continuously working to improve this game. Without their effort and hard work this game wouldn't be as fun as it is, and would probably have gone stale ages ago. Good job to the Devs for their work :beer :respect

I really enjoy this game and it has been a constant in my life over the past near year. As time progresses I get better, and the game improves as new features are constantly added. I would like to thank the game Dev's as well as the community as a hole, for making this such a great and fun game to come back to daily.
