You all should have known by now about the discovery and what not.

In 2015, astronomers discovered three Earth-sized planets orbiting the dwarf star. The team, led by Michaël Gillon at the University of Liège in Belgium, detected the planets using transit photometry with the Transiting Planets and Planetesimals Small Telescope (TRAPPIST) at the La Silla Observatory in Chile. On 22 February 2017, astronomers announced four additional exoplanets around TRAPPIST-1. Besides TRAPPIST, this work utilized the Very Large Telescope at Paranal and the NASA Spitzer Space Telescope, among others, and brought the total number of planets orbiting the star to seven, of which at least three, and possibly all, are in its habitable zone.

What do you guys, think?

personally I think people are forgetting about NASA this is one way to raise more funds we found planets yay...

or moving balls of light really.. I mean how many years was Pluto a planet before they decided it wasnt..

I mean we haven't even really explored the planets in our solar system very well and we're finding some how many light-years away and we know what they consist of okay

I dont believe any of the explanation about space discovery.

The chances of finding life in space, has never been this high before. I thought this was a great discovery. But it seems the trolls always spoils it.

Isn't NASA funded by tax money? I don't see any problems here.

Ah, moving balls of light, most says its just a very bright spot light(Unless its in space, then that must've been editing), you can believe whatever I guess.

Tell me, which one is easier? Looking at light or transporting objects to other planets.

Don't know if joking or not for what Mugiwara said.

I heard of this one time.

"There is a lot of smart people doing smart things, if you ain't one of them, then your part of the stupid ones."

Or maybe not so stupid. I am not sure if that was right.

What is the truth? for my perspective current space explorations not reflect the truth. Its just an eyewash. I dont believe even they successfully went to the moon. This is my personal opinions. Im not trying to troll your topic. Just i dont trust them. If it would be really true than honestly it would be an epic discovery.

It sure is nice find but that's all what that is because let's be honest we are not advanced enough to do anything else expect find things

That is true, but that doesn't stop people from wondering and thinking on the possibility on the matter.

In my eyes, the thing stopping us from a lot more space travel is the limitation of fuel source, the one we use for space travel right now is expensive, limited, and ineffective.

Well in my opinion technology is what pervents us because we basicly use ideas taken from WWII from germans germans used similiar fuel for V2 rockets like we use for space travel... until we don't improve our technology we can't improve in any other aspect
