No this is not normal. Your king is corrupt and is trying to drain all the money out of the nation. Leave the country by becoming a pirate and join a new nation.

Corrupt and draining the nation, I think not. That was another (former) English citizen and England has the records of such. This payment is pennies compared to what was invested and is simply for a modest rebuild.

Fire, what I did was in no way a personal move on neither you or the other citizens. It has been awhile since i've played and a quick decision on a play was executed without proper thought or consideration. For this I apologize. I don't expect you to accept these words as I understand the efforts and hard work you and others have invested, and I've taken that away. I wish to compensate you and the others if they are active, for damages and to help you cover costs to come.
Again I apologize for rash action without thought.
Mr. Rothschild,

Ahoy there Fire,
You will find : I was from England Nation when it first had grip of a port, and was in it, until England fell ( Which i thought when Mayer was )... Trust me, Mayer Donated hundreds of millions into The Port : And never claimed one gold coin, if he did so : It was to put MORE in the port then their was already... Me, I think I drained the treasury of 20 M gc if i am not mistaken? But again, it was for a Port when the war first Started... You would not know what War we are on about Fire...
Many Thanks,
Sir Roberts.

Lana, you are not in England as a Nation : Please do not get involved
When you have just been damaged from a serious war ( Something you would not know - No offence ) You need gold coins.

Sorry mate, but you have to try to read what is written.
250k per ship for every classe, but for council members, 25k .
So, you have, for example approximately 100 ships: daily taxes for 100 ships are 25M and for council members 2,5M.
Tell me, who can earn 25M of profits with 100 ships, only to pay taxes?
It's ridiculous!
Making this law England can lose all citizens in one day.
Or, maybe there is a catch!
