Well, we all do messups!
Let's post it here for the fun of it ?

Here is my latest messup:
-I saw a juicy fleet on my plunder page, I rubbed my hands together in greedy anticipation and set forth to capture the shiny ransom!
I clicked on the target, I selected my only fleet (Royal Fleet) and... BINGO! That wasn't my attack fleet (It was Royal Mail but in my hurrines...) but rather a single cutter trying to beat 5 ships of the line
Moral of the messup: Make sure the names of your attacking fleets do not start with the same adjective!

Oh man, I have a lot of these.
My most recent: I was anticipating getting hit by voodoo so I activated Countercurse on myself. Then I realized I had an Exposition Journey which I could use to raise my Ship of the Line from level 9 to level 10. Not thinking, I cast it onyx my SotL and got the message that my Countercurse countered my Expedition Journey! So I waisted 2 incredibly powerful cards, costing my 3.3million gold.

Moral: countercurse will counter yours and your guild's positive curses as well as attacks! (Unless this is a bug... I would prefer if Expedition journey wasn't countered- why would you ever want to counter that card?)

Not so much a mess up as bad luck, but I did recently spend hours getting max crew and cannons on all my trade fleets (deleting a lot of other trade fleets to streamline)... just for the day after to have hire max crew and cannon for all capability. >.<

I have had the same with countercurse, I think it was Hideout!

ahm got sumtin like captain D had lol. .i was vo0doed by this worthless max ravenell with swarm o worms. .i hurriedly took out my purify. .unfortunately a had bless on one of my fleets. .i didnt knw it will only purify one. .and that it would also affect sometin that i would cast. .the end of the story leaves me picking worms all day out of the hulls of my ships. .darn!!

Surely countercuse has countered more self curses than enemy already

Just wasted 48 turns doing attacks because my sloop couldn't even take down a single LMM with no cannons on them

I used roughly 500 turns to find a single peace of gold -_-
