The fame system in PG is not very good. My largest raid had little fame attached. Too much fame is lost when a big fleet beats a tiny one.

It has been suggested that the ELO raiting system from Chess would be a good addition to PG, in some form, perhaps as a replacement to fame.

Not a light math project to integrate! But if the various roles in PG could be reduced to formulae, that is trading is equally rated as pirating, it could be kind of fun.

They got hacked and aren't taking new players till they replace new hard drive...

there's like 8 million different free chess servers out there

yeah, maybe we can meet on Yahoo or something...fics is nice because it has good chat and emails you your moves after the game.
