Yes, you can indeed be a racist and be proven as such by facts. Simplest fact being- Do you believe any group of people to be inferior(or superior) to other groups simply because of their race? If the answer to that is yes, regardless of whichever group you may be thinking of(be it black, white, or purple) then by the very definition of racism, and the fact that you believe a group to be inferior or superior then you are in fact racist. Same applies to every other human on the planet. If the person does not believe that, and thinks all races are equal and deserve to be treated equally, then they are not racist. Doesn't matter if they don't support other groups, doesn't matter if they dislike immigration, they are not racist, because they do not believe skin color affects one's worth or equality.

I don't mind legal immigration, but i dislike Illegal immigration. I don't like Far away refugees coming to America when their are closer options that are also available. I don't mind if a wall is built on our border with Mexico, as that won't hurt any legal immigration. I do think there are better things to spend that money on, but it's not a huge issue for me.

I think building a wall is stupid. They could break through anywhere across the wall by cutting through the wire unless it's like a concrete one or electrified fence. I feel like more guards patrolling the border would be better

Yes, saying or thinking that you are superior to someone because of their race is obviously racist. But that doesn't mean that if you DON'T think that they are aren't racist. Look at the alt-right, for instance. Their entire thing is based on this notion of "separate but equal". Not just superiority, but also the idea that someone should be treated different because of their race, or have to live somewhere different, is racist. And there is a difference between skin color and race. If you were to say some anti-Semitic exclamation, I would probably call you racist, despite that most Jews are white. Discriminating against someone or a group of people because of their religion (like the travel ban) is also racist.

But enough about that.

Trumps wall? It's a waste of time. He even said it himself. Anyone could get past the wall with commercially available tools. All they would need is a rope and a weight. The patrol guards are spaced pretty far from each other, leaving lots of space for people to get through. It probably will not actually stop very many people. It's a waste of time, money, and a disgrace to the country. The president himself, is a disgrace.
