Too skinny, would never survive the harsh weeks without solid food at sea. The shirt is unbuttoned, and too big especially at the sleeves. The shirt would be a big annoyance while sword-fighting. The skin tone indicates a person who is not working on a ship, it more closely resembles a person who lives in a comfortable mansion with staff taking care of every practical detail.

This is a pirate wanna-be, for show, not a hard-working captain. Oh, and there is no curls.

Too much hair and a too fat, would never survive a day at sea without a constant stream of Rum and Wenches in addition to a chair that doesn't sway and a sword that would get stuck in his hair.
