Its international law. Asylum Seekers must apply at the next nearest state that doesnt endanger them. Its due to the costs, logistics and if someone was really in fear for their life, why would they want to shop around for a place to stay, its a way to fight against fraud as well.

Morally wrong and Legally wrong are two different things.

Abortions are legal.

Abortions are morally wrong as they are the willful killing of an unborn child.

There is nothing morally wrong with denying asylum requests or banning travel from foreign states. There is no God given right to travel to or to become an American citizen.

These people have escaped a tough situation. They sacrificed a lot to get their family to safety. The least we can do is let them stay in the US until things cool down back home.

They aren't cowards. They are brave as hell to risk their lives to get their loved ones out of danger. Anyone who fights back gets killed by the government. That's why they left.

Honestly they are probably too good for the selfish and unwelcoming United States of America. They should go to Canada where they will gladly be let in and not called cowards for fleeing danger.
