definately agree with Dman that buying healthy food isn't as expensive as you want to make it out to be. You can easily live a fairly healthy diet if you buy smart.

Potatoes, Rice, Beans, are all pretty cheap, but very healthy foods. Hell, for one person, one gallon of milk, a couple loaves of bread, some cereal, some lunch meat, peanut butter, a bag of potatoes, some oranges and you have all the vitamins you really need for a week easily at a fairly low price. The problem a lot of folks make is buying tasty food or expensive brands.

Coupons are another major benefit and easy to get usually. Also, tell me, Mustache have you ever actually done any grocery shopping on your own? If not, maybe don't speak as if you have knowledge that you don't actually have.

I mean I was more thinking people that couldn't afford to buy food AT ALL. They rely on others' charity to keep them alive, and sometimes, if not most of the time, that charity doesn't exactly come in super foods.

Yes, if you have a little money then you can easily buy some healthy food.

But if you have no money, it's a lot harder.

It's sad that some people can have so much , while others have so little.

Why do you guys think that because I'm a minor that means that I'm being taken care of and have my every need attended to? No. Half the time there isn't enough food in my house to eat breakfast.

I know that it would never happen; could never happen, but I wish that people got money based on how hard they worked, not based on some luck or generational wealth. Of course it would be impossible to make a change like that, and there would be many , many problems from the start.

I'm glad that you are doing some research yourself, but your not completely correct. I have no degree... because I have not graduated. My father is the senior climatologist for my state, so I went to many conferences and presentations, picking up lots of info

So this is from the Trump post. It doesnt add up, why wouldn't the senior climatologist for you state have enough money for food for breakfast? Either you were lieing before to try and give yourself some sort of climate clout, or you should just go shopping with all that money you have for food :)

The only people who have 0 money for food are the homeless, and they can eat for free at shelters... BTW, my step mother was the head of the well fair system in my old city as i got older i got to see it and help. Didnt take one burning building.

In listening to you, it sounds like you actually have the best of intentions for society and a big heart my friend, it just sound like the only way you figured everyone to instantly be helped is socialistic ideas. The reality is the only way to help everyone is for everyone to make decisions that may s**k now, but will benefit them in the long run and make their lives better.

The nice thing about America, is if they do that they will get what they need.

yeah speaking about food I never realised until I was about 12 how privileged a life I lived compared to some people like my family is not like in crazy rich Asians where they got like billions but I live in a nice 2 story house and have enough food to eat. I also went to Cambodia just before I turned 12 because I went to a primary school that had a program where students 10 and above could go overseas for a week or 2 to asian countries and we had a sister school in japan I think and I went to China and visited the great wall and went on one of the steepest sections (I swear the steps were either really large or small and it was basically vertical) and I also went to Cambodia and visited Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom and I also went to a school there and it was one of the best schools in that province or area and they had dirt floors and most had no shoes or just sandals but they were so happy and carefree compared to in Australia were some spoilt brats would complain they didn't have a PS4 or whatever and those kids weren't even complaining they had shoes. It really made me think and reflect on my life that I am receiving a good education and have parents who support me.

Gee that went on a bit of a tangent...

Blue, i was talking to you.

Kim,

That happeneds everywhere. Poeple dont realize how good they really have it compared to the rest of the world. Thats why we have been saying, the bast way to help the world isnt to make the rich and middle class poor, its to help the poor become middle class and rich :)
