Just because you are omnipotent doesn't mean you are a god. For example, I never said I was immortal or omniscient.

but that means your not omnipotent. if there existed a being that was omnipotent, as in all powerful, why couldn't that being use its omnipotence to make itself immortal and omniscient. and maybe omnipresent too.

although I suppose it depends on what you consider omnipotent. it does mean all powerful, and many consider it to mean you can use that power to do anything.

reminds me of that old question. could god create a rock so heavy even he couldn't lift it? if not hes not all powerful. if he can, hes still not all powerful.

yeah it really is a rigged question. another conundrum is what happens when the unstoppable force meets the immovable object. that one is fun to think about.
