Biden quote of the day:

"We choose truth over facts"

Side note, hasn't he been in DC for 50 years? If he could actually make change, would he have done it by now, or maybe when he was VP? Just a thought :D

Aside from VP Chaney who was president behind the scenes, the VP cant really make any change. Their job is mostly to be a backup plan if the current president dies or is otherwise unable to continue server mid-term.

Note: his first name was censored.

Lol he has made plenty of change.
He spent more than a decade pushing anti crime policy that focused on mass incareration, funding police, courts and prisions, in an effort to get "violent thugs" locked up for as long as possible. He pushed legislation that singled out inner city type crime over everything else. His basic philospohy lock undesrible people up using any and all means nessecary.
Many unfairly weighted crime punishments that target minority crimes were pushed through by him.

Funny, the defund police groups now want him to be president.

They only want him to be president because Trump is against defunding the police. I'm sure they would have endorsed a more... smart candidate.

Biden is certainly smart politically if nothing else.

They had some decent viable choices running.

Maybe to decent.
Maybe not the type to jump when the lobbiests
Said so.
In my opinion.
Its what led to hillary as a choice and now biden and
Super delegates need to not be a thing.

Given i think Sanders lives in fantasy land.
Maybe no more so than Trump lives in his own fantasy
land.
Sanders ideas sound great till you think about their practicality.
Trump cant speak worth a crap so his ideas sound like crap even if a few of them are decent.
At least Sanders thinks for himself.
Trump has people to think for him, which is good in his case.
unless he wings it and thinks for himself out loud.
Then its a CNN special report time.

I think trump is smarter then a lot of folks give him credit for. I just think that he's kind of an arsehole and tends to speak his mind. Honestly a bit refreshing to see that in a politician, who typically put on fake smiles, and act polite and keep their true thoughts hidden. Though it also tends to get him in trouble with the media. Many of whom are out for blood with him. Honestly some media sources are so biased against him, if the man cured cancer today tomorrow they would talk about Covid and how he hasn't cured it, or done enough for it and ignore the former.

Edit- and many of those same sources act the opposite with Biden. Highlighting only his successes and ignoring any of his fumbles. Honestly though, Biden is a long time liar, even before his mental health started going. Man tried to say he graduated top of his class, had a full scholarship and had 3 degrees, and when he was caught lying, went and said he "misremembered". If his memory was that bad when he was young(ish) it sure as hell didn't improve since then(of course, I'm pretty sure anyone with half a brain could tell that he didn't misremember crap-he just lied and didn't want to admit it.)

Wolf biltzer during CNNs coverage of the last election

When the votes were coming in from heavily industrialized Union districts and Hillary was not gettimg their support.

He said via my best recollection

"We are going to lose this election"

Not she is going to lose

"WE"

Lol thats more than just a little bias. If it was not obvious enough already.

I am sorry Meliva but I cannot help but point out that Trump is making USA lose it’s position globally over silly reasons.
He was also caught contradicting himself and lying about it many times. Every time he is criticized or their is a disaster somewhere, it is fake news and he is the victim. He has no responsibility or accountability or reasoning whatsoever. He only works based of publicity reports by his advisors and TV.
That may be smart for an actor but for a president, that is recipe for disaster and his presidency has been nothing but that. A disaster. If anyone says the US is in a better position on a single thing since Obama because of something Trump actually did and was right about it, I will swallow my socks!
