All I'm saying is it's pretty easy for you, a privileged American, to say what you would do, but these people are actually in the situation and it's obvious that fighting back hasn't worked. That's the government, fool, not the citizens. The Syrian government is evil and horrible, specifically Assad, but the citizens can not change that. Plus the Syrian government probably does not want people to flee Syria so it's not like if we help the refugees we are helping Syria or anything like that, it's just the right thing to do.

Mate, that foreign leader was a literal terrorist who had killed many innocent people, and was an active enemy to the US. Killing him most likely saved many lives in the future. Why anyone seems to think it was a bad thing to have him killed is beyond me, aside from being biased because Trump killed him. Pretty sure most folks wouldn't bat an eye if Obama ordered the strike, hell would probably commend him for it.

Now how did 514 immigrants die exactly and why is trump to blame? Did these folks illegally enter the US, and died in the process? In which case, they broke a law, and ended up getting themselves killed. It's a sad thing, yes, but ultimately one they brought on themselves. Any children dying because of a shooting is a sad thing too. Though if you think gun laws will stop psycho's from killing then your a naïve optimist. Take away guns, and they will resort to bombs, cars, knives etc.
