When I said automatic I was referring to the gun show loophole, in which it is legal to buy automatic assault weapons. Plus, you can legally convert a regular assault rifle into an auto using a bump stock, which to me is horrifying.

In my experience it is quite easy to buy a gun. The reason people were surprised is because they thought they could just go buy a gun, when really you need to apply for a licence and that takes a while to process. But, when you think about it, for what a gun is (a lethal machine made for killing that shoots tiny lead particles at high speeds), they are very easy to obtain.

Blue, i hate to say it yet again, but you are getting fed the wrong info again. As a person who has bought many firearms throughout my life, you CAN NOT buy automatic assault weapon even at gun shows, they are illegal without applying for a Class III with the BATF which is a very very extensive background check and are now forever in their database. It is also illegal to convert a semi automatic gun into a fully automatic weapon no matter where you buy it.

A bump stock absolutely does not convert a gun into a full auto gun, it still only fires one round per trigger pull period. A bump stock was made to replace bump shooting which is a method of letting the gun recoil "bump" the gun back and forth to get the next trigger pull. Im with you on bump stocks, its for the lazy. I can bump shoot any semi auto rifle by hand. I would say anyone who has experience and practices with their guns can do the same, the method has been around for decades and its a good way to miss what your aiming for a waist a lot of ammo lol.. Some call it fun

Maybe your starting to see that those of us who actually legally own firearms are very well versed in the law and we follow it. Its not us with legally obtained weapons you need to worry about. People who have illegal firearms obviously dont care about the law, so what good will new laws do if they dont follow the current ones

The problem with that is it could very easily be a bad source and be false information. Since it's anonymous there is no way to verify the source at all. Hell, if a news network wanted to, they could just claim they were contacted by an anonymous source, and come up with a completely fabricated story.

How would anyone prove them wrong? They can't check the source, and even if they DID find evidence that what they said was false, the network could just shift the blame on the anonymous whistleblower they made up.

actually mel they run the story on the air then put a small retraction in a paper they own in small print and basically hidden but of course the damage is done by that point
a good example would be the guy from kentucky cnn ruined over the meth head indian beating his drum in the kids face they ruined that kids life and it cost them 60m but did you see the retraction lol
the most current example is the anon whistleblowers saying trump called us soldiers losers and suckers lmao but look at all hes done for vets and current serving military if he felt that way it would have shown long ago in his campaign promises and his legislation but they have anon sources with no evidence so its true lol

It is paid for by taxes.

Also what rights and benefits we afford our citizens is not really your buisness. As the functioning of your nation should not be ours. Nations should stay out of other nations buisness as much as possible.

I'm aware that it is not 'free' and is paid by taxes but I'm sure it is much cheaper than your healthcare. Also Will I can say whatever I want about your nation and anything in it. I mean my opinion is really going to have practically no impact on your country unless I become a politician or something. Hey Kim, I only have one question for you on that thought... If all this "free" healthcare is so good, why do so many (those with the money) leave Australia, Canada, England Etc to come to the USA when they need treatment then return home?

That could be true but US health care system is not number 1. Your healthcare is decent but not as good as Australia's health care. A lot of people in other countries actually come to Australia for medical treatment and we invented the bionic ear, ultrasound and penicillin based antibiotics.

Our healthcare is the best if you can afford the best. Your's might be better for folks who don't have the money to travel to the US for the best care, Or live closer to australia, but the US is at the top for those who can afford it.

but what i do use often australia s**k on
