Ok that was alot to take in, and i knew there was some logic in that melon of yours blue :)

There are tons of people out there who dont mind just getting by, there are some with ambitions and always want more. If a socialist society is to work even for a short time, you need all available workers working to make the goods you distribute. What do you do with the ones who dont want to work? You ask, they say no. You now must force them, and your a dictator.

Beyond the absurd idea of over taxing the most mobile people on the planet (the wealthy), sure its great to say tax anything over 5 bil. So the super rich leave as mel said, and now there is no incentive to make anything over 4.99999999 bil. So now your stuck with no money to pay for the poor, so you lower the cap to 4.5 bil. Now there is no reason to make anything over 4.499999999, and so on, till the only way to keep the whole thing going is to tax everyone who cant leave (middle class and lower class), and we are back to bringing everyone else down.

You say you like America, hell our poorest populations are far richer that some middle class in other countries, cell phones, tv's, microwaves, cars, internet, etc... When Dinesh came her from India, he just wanted to go to a grocery store and see 12 different flavors of Ice Cream, he had never seen that before. The only reason America has made so many wealth, has brought so many out of poverty, the only reason we have congressmen who's parents and grandparents were slaves and sharecroppers and now make the rules, is we are a land of laws and capitalism, nothing is perfect!

Oh, and I believe trump donates his yearly salary and Obama just bought a house in the Hampton's after becoming a multimillionaire from his presidency. And yes, star trek can make things out of thin air lol, but its also pretend :)

Is that why his net worth has been drastically dropping over the years? Where does he donate it to?

That's a pretty sketchy source, but ok.

a source that lists its sources is worth its weight in gold
if you read at the bottom you can follow the trail and connect the dots yourself
i realize you like cnn and other sketchy sources who have no sources to list other than anonymous whistleblower but connecting the dots is vital in what i read or watch

Recent salary donations go to the Health Department
Trump continues to fulfill his 2015 campaign promise that he will forgo his salary.

The Constitution doesn't allow the president to reject his earnings, which originally forced George Washington to accept the first presidential salary, so Trump began donating his salary quarterly in April 2017. The first $100,000 went to the National Park Service, and since then, he has donated to various federal departments.

Most recently, Trump donated the last two quarters of his 2019 salary and his first quarter of his 2020 salary to the Department of Health and Human Services. The department is working on two issues that Trump designated for the funds: the opioid crisis and COVID-19.

The Associated Press reported on Nov 26, 2019 that Trump's 2019 third-quarter salary went to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health, an operating agency within HHS. The funds were earmarked for "the ongoing fight against the opioid crisis."

Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted on March 3, 2020, that Trump's 2019 fourth-quarter salary was being donated to the HHS to support the department's efforts to "confront, contain, and combat #Coronavirus." The tweet also featured a picture of Trump's check to the office from January.

The 2020 first-quarter salary donation was mentioned briefly by the press secretary at a press conference on May 22, 2020. McEnany said the first quarter would again be going to HHS, this time to "develop new therapies for treating and preventing COVID-19 so that we can safely reopen."

In a tweet, Judd Deere, the deputy press secretary, confirmed that Trump's first-quarter 2020 salary will be going to HHS for "the development of new therapeutics to treat #COVID19 infections."

We rate this Promise Kept.

Re: Biden 2020

I have no idea if his net worth has been dropping or not its of no concern to me, believe it or not, i really dont get into politics much lmao, i know right, but i do have a chub for learning and teaching. I once thought that socialism could be a good thing when i was younger and my teachers were telling me the same thing, i never really saw the upside so I decided to learn about it, and other forms of government, and history and i saw the light. Business school really cemented my convictions. Any good business school should loose its accreditation if they teach this garbage. Once you learn how economies and supply and demand work, you see things too clearly. So i have very much enjoyed these conversations!

Oh, i do have an issue with so many people being lied to by people they should be trusting. And blue, i really do want you think about this. If all these ideas your teachers have spouted were really the answer and true, why are they still in the position they are in. If they really could fix it all, dont you think, logically, that the world governments would be banging down their door for the answers? If America were as bad and racist as some of your counterparts say, why are minorities trying to come here to live the dream every day?

Just food for thought :)

OK ya got me, it was just a guess :)

And good, dont listen to CNN, when they invented the 24hour news cycle they had to include entertainment, cause who wants to see the same things on repeat all day, the weather channel had to do the same, but, CNN's form of entertainment is a one way street, and riddled with defamation lawsuits while they hide behind freedom of the press even though its more opinion... but hey they have their sheeple, and they make money, so there is an ass for everyseat :D
