Well it has it's positives and negatives but ultimately I think the positives outweigh the negative here. Besides there's corruption everywhere and every organisation will be influenced by politics or in this case global politics. Countries like China, India and other Asian countries have more pollution than western countries like Australia and the US because they are still developing, If you give them another decade their contribution to pollution will start to go down. At the moment China is more focused on growth but their almost at the end of their rapid growth and will start to decrease their pollution soon after

Like sending covid positive elderly folks BACK INTO their nursing homes. Like the NY governor did, and then said "well I was just doing what the feds told me to do".

Trump also was heavily criticized and even insulted when he made the china ban. The left called him xenophobic, racist etc, and said he was over reacting. Then when crap hit the fan and we realized how bad this virus was, they changed their tune to "he should have done more, put the ban up sooner etc."

hindsight is 20-20. No one knew initially how bad this virus was, because China, then WHO kept quiet and were dishonest. After this great disaster, I have no faith in WHO. So I don't blame Trump for defunding them. They seriously failed us. Would be better to take that money we were funding them with to help our own citizens and recover from this virus. Just because a lot of folks prefer America help fund every single global organization there is doesn't mean we should be forced to or feel required to. So many people like to criticize us about how we act like the global police, while wanting us to be the global bank. Frankly I think America needs to do a lot less and be a lot less involved in foreign affairs and orgs. Should focus far more on ourselves.

our businesses didnt all relocate to china btw they went to lots of other nations

when a business (or thousands of them) close up shop then pay to start over somewhere else or contract out to china you know you are doing it wrong

raise the taxes sky high and those who can afford it will opt out and go elsewhere then we will see the true value of socialism as the poor try to fund a nation

currently the fed corporate tax rate is 21 percent thanks to trump who lowered it from 35 percent i personally dont believe the feds are entitled to a third or more of a businesses money in addition to local taxes it was outrageous fook socialism lol

yeah I know about other leaders not doing anything but then if that is the case then that shows a weak spot in your system that they cannot be legally obliged to follow the experts. I agree that WHO did not do a very good job but just because they have failed once doesn't mean you should withdraw from it and blame it all on them. Also you guys have gone around and started a few wars by yourselves that were not completely justified and then withdrew from having not completing your goals and then destabilizing the country further making it worse like Vietnam and Afghanistan and maybe Iraq but I don't know as much about that so I'll leave that as a maybe. Another thing is you need to be involved in international affairs to stop things from happening. Isolating yourselves like in WW1 and WW2 didn't work and in my view was kinda pointless. Instead you guys should focus your more of your vast resources into science, Medicine, NASA etc instead of focusing on your defence force and learrn to manage your resources better because you guys are kinda inefficient when it comes to money than say us Aussies because the general trend is that smaller countries can make something just as good with less resources and money than you guys

we did why not them, we were among the first industrialized regions on earth, we went through a time of unknown consequences, we learned from that we adapted and inforced laws and regulations to mitigate the pollution. i dont think we should just over look the disaters that can and do happen in those situations.. i dont think those who are acually worried about the environment would be ok with that in any way.
