Mack, I don't know what Trump is doing pulling out from WHO, but it was a very poor decision on his part. WHO is essential for important purposes like creating standards based on public health data. For God's sake WHO cured smallpox!

Mack, I will have you know that the US is actually behind on climate regulations, not ahead. If those regulations are too much for you then you should go live in a hut in the woods, hunt and fish for all your food, and walk everywhere you go. Because the fact is that the US has contributed a lot to climate change, which means we need to contribute a lot to fix it. This is actually why we need agreements like the Paris agreement. It makes sure that multiple countries are doing their fair share. If China isn't doing enough for climate change, then an organization or deal between the US and China could really help.

Maybe, but we shouldn't make it a competition. I agree with you that other countries should do more, but that doesn't mean we should do less. Honestly everyone should be doing more. This is a serious issue that isn't being taken seriously.

these regulations are strangling us all the manufacturing jobs need to go to places like china to be able to produce like they want.. which does nothing for the overall climate right they are still doing what ever they want ut just costs peolle like me more for nothing better in any way indact they have to ship it here which what burns more un neccesary oil ....

Not enough regulations if you ask me.

Everything is made in china because child labor is legal and much cheaper than labor in the US.

I'd say that IMO over regulating is better than under regulating, but both can be problematic.

Under regulation means that people have to follow less rules which means they can get away with more things. Over regulation means that people do not have enough freedom and the government is essentially running your business. One is anarchy and the other is communism. I'm not for either, Mack. The balance is right in the middle.

what about places like china do they pay how ever much more they pollute?

or is like every other agreement that seems to be getting put together that makes us pay way more than anyone else just because we are good at what we do
