He's always been racist. You want claims? How about his travel ban from predominantly Muslim countries? It was based on racist stereotypes and not facts. Also, the wall. Saying that "mexico is sending it's worst" and "they are rapists" doesn't seem racist to you? If not, then go check the definition of racism again. Also, racial majorities really don't get to decide if someone else who is also of that majority is racist. I shouldn't assume your race, but since you are defending Trump and only 0.5% of his supporters are ethnic minorities, it's extremely probably. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Blue mustache wrote:Ok, but what about the travel ban? Also, saying "some I assume are good people" is just crude. He should know that just because someone is hispanic does not mean that by default they are drug lords or rapists. Also, the Guatemalan wall is only partial. It's actually the idea that we need to keep Mexicans out that is racist. Why are they any different from Americans when it comes to crime?

Firstly, you are putting meanings to his actions that are your opinion, not fact. I don't agree with the wall myself, more so because I don't think it would be effective or at least not enough to warrant being built, but I don't see the wall being built as racist. It's a wall meant to keep people from crossing into the US Illegally. Whether they be Mexicans, or other individuals from further countries to the south, or folks who flew into Mexico from some other country doesn't matter. If they want into the US, then they need to do so the legal way.
Also, who or what gives you the right to say that a racial majority can not decide if someone else of the majority is racist or not? Because that's completely idiotic. If I walked out my door right now, and saw a white person call my roommate a racial slur, and for him to go back to Africa, I can't say, "well that fellow is clearly a racist" because I'm white? Or if someone asked me if I thought my brother was a racist to black folks, I can't tell that person "no I am very confident he's definitely not, I remember he dated a black girl in highschool, so I highly doubt he is racist based on that fact" I just have to shrug my shoulders and say "Well I'm white so I can't say who is or is not racist of my own skin color, regardless of what I know about them"
Facts are facts mate. A person's skin color does not change a damn thing-whether they be the majority or not. How you ended up with that crazy notion in your head, I don't know, but it's a completely ridiculous belief to have.
Edit-and on top of that, based on your logic, that means if I was a Chinese woman in China, the above statements would be true for me there too. Or If I was a black girl in Sudan, or a Mexican girl in Mexico. Do you think that in all those places, the majority can't say who is or is not a racist from their fellow peers? Simply because they are the majority? I certainly hope not.

Do you know how hard it is to enter the country legally? It can take up to 15 years to get in. And most people that cross illegally are fleeing danger, not coming here to cause havoc or anything. If they didn't cross illegally they could be killed. They often cant wait for the paperwork to go through. I'd just like to point out that when people say that immigrants are stealing jobs and ruining the economy, they are wrong. First of all, many immigrants are willing to do jobs that citizens are not. Also, since they are not citizens they do not have to get paid minumum waige, so it saves employers money to hire them.

Love how you completely avoided making any other statements about how you said a majority can not make claims on other majorities on matters concerning them. I still want to know though, do you apply that asinine logic to all majorities in all countries? So A Mexican man in mexico isn't able to say if his neighbor is a racist even if he see's him making signs about taking other races and killing them for being a different color?
And yes, it is hard to enter the country legally. It's a sad but necessary precaution. We need to make sure that the people we let in, are good honest people, and not up to no good. The world is full of bad people. Many of whom will pose as victims to lure good hearted folks into a trap. Tell me, if a homeless man knocks on your door late at night, and asks if he can spend the night in your home, and you have NEVER seen this man, and know nothing about him, would you let him in? Just on good faith that he won't steal anything? Or hurt you? There are also MANY people who wish to enter the US for a better life. This makes the list long. But at the end of the day, the US can not let in every single person who wants in. We have some of our own citizens we need to help. And any good government should make sure their own citizens are in good shape before other nations.
The sad fact is, is that the US, or any other nation for that matter, can not help everybody on earth. Some will luck out and receive aid, but others will not and die. Now if some of those folks decide their best bet on survival is to enter the US illegally, then they need to be prepared for what happens when and if they get caught. Rules and borders exist for a reason. They need to be enforced.
Edit- and your last point is straight up insulting. Are you SERIOUSLY saying that employers taking advantage of non citizens and not giving them fair wages is a good thing? Mate, I think you really need to start rethinking a lot of your beliefs. How anyone could be in favor of something like that, and think it's a good thing baffles me.

What I meant is that if a bunch of people call someone racist, it isn't your place to deny it without proper evidence. That's all. You can accused whoever you want of being racist, but it sounds insensitive to defend someone when they have been accused by millions.
