As it was stated it is paradox but even then if you change something future would change it would create so called parallel universe and each change would create new one and it would go in infinty... maybe with that change you wouldn't be born as your parents would never meet and so on... maybe it would create even bigger catasthrophy...

id like to say yes, since it would appear it would be a good thing, but for all i know preventing something terrible from happening, could very well end up resulting in an even worse incident later on. somewhat like that final destination series, prevent something bad from happening only for even worse things to happen. plus while WW2 WAS terrible the nazi human experiments did progress medical knowledge despite how inhumane they were. preventing ww2 could have lead to an even worse war down the line for all we know. in regards to the actual question avery stated about destroying a new player to prevent said player from causing others to go inactive i would not stop that player. a player can not make someone go inactive thats a personal choice. even if your COMPLETELY destroyed you can eventually come back. and honestly most players should have some backbone and reserves to use in such a situation so they wont be starting from scratch anyway.

not really because in WWI I'll use that period people researched and developed cures that would never been invented otherwise or even if they did they would been invented much later causing more deaths... best example is Sir Alexander Fleming if he didn't see people dieing from sepsis in WWI he would never invent penicillin causing more deaths...

And the horrible human experiments that went along with Hitler's rule also advanced medical science a lot. Killing him could have prevented a World War but if he didn't rise up I'm sure someone would've. There was also Mussolini, Tojo, and others.

There is no paradox for me. Killing the baby is a no go.

Very hard choice actually.

If i knew a baby that would be responsible for the deaths of millions as a grownup. It would really test my reasoning skills vs the ethical side.
In the end, i would lean onto the modern court practice and let the baby live.

Uh, the whole thread (kill someone in the past to prevent some big evil issue) reminds me so much the plot of a movie.
Spoiler: show
Looper by Ryan Johnson, 2012, with Bruce Willis

Enjoyable movie. I'd suggest it to see.
And also :D
Image

*edit* Nice, forum did cut the right side, so it added a sort of anti-spoiler :D
I made image clickable to see how it ends anyway.
Stay tuned on Radio Image Bermuda!
