Port Nationalities

All ports now show the % of nationalities based on the port control they have had in the last 1553 days.


This is a base for nationality per port.

Right now, the initial groups have been formed through the time of control of every port from every nation. The history of 1553 days have been taken in mind (starting at Avonmora day 1078). Time will continue to affect them for now (the longer a nation holds the port, the higher its influence will become). Since the period that we take in mind is quite long, there displayed values are very realistic and changes are also expected to be realistic.

No mechanisms built on this right now - only cosmetic for now. Also, no other ways to affect it at the present time. However, there are ideas for both mechanisms and ways to affect them. However, I would prefer to hear your opinions first.

Does/Will Transport Immigrants have an effect on this?

What about immigrants brought on ships?

i think voodoo should not affect this. just my oppinion.. transporting with ships i cant see why not let that count somehow

voodoo is still in the end increasing the port population so it should increase the number of citizens of that port with the nationality of the caster

Not really. The amount gained by the voodoo is based on the current population. 100M will gain 1M. So despite the name of Transport Immigrants it's more like the folks are just getting frisky and popping out babies. And That would mean those new citizens would either be the nationality of the port, or a mixture of the current demographics(so if 50% American and 50% Mexico it would divide up 50-50).
