Hostile Natives is overbalanced

Any game related discussion can take place here. Examples: Discuss about how bad the merchant rates have been lately, how rich you have became by following this specific strategy which now needs to stop etc etc

Yes I know but at least you can restart them and only lose have a day's pay instead of a full day.

Or ya know what some traders do?! They use diplomacy and ask the raider to cancel the voodoo once the ships have been stopped. Some raiders will oblige.

The number of cards in circulation plays a factor in determining which cards are generated in voodoo packs and chests.

Yes. There is a set ratio for rarity based on all voodoo cards in game.

Of all the voodoo cards in game X% will be common, Y% will be uncommon, and Z% will be rare.

This is interesting. Maybe I've just let it slip my mind, but I never made note of this before. Would be interesting to see an update where inactive players are not figured into this total, only accounts with activity within some set time frame.

At the same time, while the disparity is probably not too huge, there are definitely some older accounts that have tons of "older" cards that never got a chance to obtain cards added after their departure from the game. This may contribute to currently active accounts being shifted towards certain cards more than others. I for one haven't really noticed any glaring advantage or disadvantage in what cards I do get versus which I do not both from daily voodoo or voodoo packs, but maybe someone who actually purchases voodoo packs and noticed some trends would have noticed something.

Not a complaint or anything, just mentioning.

So basically if you try holding them you just end up making them common instead of rare simply because they haven't been used.
