I would like an option to not allow recruits or anyone below a certain rank to view the forums. There could be a single topic new players can view and post in but nothing else. In case you are wondering why this is needed, just ask Roileon

No. But I think there should be forums that should be hidden and 1 option is view hidden forums but overall I just disagree. Seriously, don't do this.

Hidden forums is a better idea though, there are many topics new players still need to be able to view. There would need to be an option to mark past topics as hidden though

well yea of course. When you are configuring the ranks, 1 option should be Can View Hidden Forums

We will see which solution will be preferred. We will go for maximum flexibility.
