Today I edited a few trade routes to bring workers to my plant. I enabled store in warehouse and made sure my plant was set to hiring. Slowly but surely the number started rising from 1.2M and got to around 1.35M. I logged on an hour later and now it's back down to 1.2M. Where did they go? I didn't fire them

Heard some rumors about kidnapping, Noffin, Mel, a bucket and some turtles. Didn't pay much attention though.
