Honor Points yet no EOTC?

Wally of New Zealand has stated that he received Honor points from attacking me in IOM. I am not EOTC in IOM? How is that possible? I don’t even have hostility with IOM at the moment

Ed Teach says he checked the list and does not see it?

JB says he sees a EOTC symbol above my name???

Might be related to the same bug where I was EofC to my own nation whilst being the King and with no notion how/when that had happened.
Only clue was when folk got points for hitting me.

Holy cow that is weird!! William cleared it by adding and removing me..is that how you had to clear yourself?

King of Mexico and enemy of the crown…you would think taking the crown would disable that feature or something.

the King is his own worst enemy..hmmm..yep sounds about right.

Just for experimental purposes I just tried to declare myself EOTC and it does not appear to allow it.

I had no idea it had happened : saw no log that mentioned it or list kept anywhere. It was folk asking me why they got Honor Points for hitting mr that was the clue. At first I was not bothered much : tbh I dont see the point of those points but raised it as a bug and CJ sorted it out. But the 'how' and 'why' of it is still a mystery to me.

Did someone take your crown and made you EOTC but when you took the crown back the EOTC remained? Or did you do it just to do it and it stuck.

Maybe... it has been some time since Mexico had a different King. Not that it ever bothered me then. Certainly dont recall any rows over it or any notifications that I had been made an EotC. Certainly never did it to myself or anyone else : I think the whole thing is rather pointless and irrelevant. Like I said, never found any mention of it in the nation logs nor in my own achievements or captains log pages.
All a mystery to me.
