Plantation Issues

So I wanted to upgrade my recreational facilities to 5 stars, bought the gold, added some people to utilities, started the upgrade used gold to fasten (I know it's bad but I'm impatient), removed the people from utilities (not sure if that changes anything plantations are confusing), gave it a few minutes to update and nothing changed? I did it twice and spent way more gold bars and gc then I care to admit lol did I do something wrong am I missing something?

I definitely used enough bars, is there any mechanic I'm missing, is it a bug, or did I just click the wrong facilities lmao

(got my kitchens to 5 stars just before this and that worked fine)

Did you try putting the workers back? That maybe your issue if you didn’t.

1. If you remove workers the stars should disappear.
2. If the resource that the facility uses is not available the stars also disappear.

Check if you have enough rum in stock.
