After what was posted in the last edition of 5th of November, some readers have been left wondering what happened afterwards... every piece of information will be delivered today. Keep reading!

A few years passed and Death was pretty satisfied with the new solution. He only needed to be in certain places and not at the same time, negotiations became only accessable through witches, like how it has already been before. With a voodoo cards market being created by some witches, the flow of buy-and-sell cards got so insane that the black market was a festival of pirates, merchants, even kings ordered their jackals to look for that Hired Diplomat or the infamous card Taxation. This was all the start of a new era, the easy access to voodoo cards was Death's biggest mistake that turned out to be his best and luckiest act.
It didn't take too much time 'til the witches were almost no longer needed since the richer were buying entires lots of cards of diferent kind. Some people still believe there are bunkers only filled with those magical items, which were owned by someone in a certain lapse of time but not right now...

But... using those cards as a mere human had a downside, an enormous disadvantage... one that not even Death knew about.
Witches were taught their witchcraft, their sorcery, how to do it safely, they would never lose their sanity over those spells-cards but without the proper training, they could have. That's exactly what happened to humans. Even though, back in time, witches had to use their own strenght to cast the spells, it didn't drive them out of their minds, just made them weaker for a few hours, days or months, some of them felt weaker then others but that was it. Humans didn't have the right spirit nor soul to do it, they were just users, directly using Death's magic, without any kind of protection. Some of those humans abused that kind of witchcraft, studied, tried to re-create cards and even create new ones but unsuccessfully. They all died in vein... at the beggining.

Some time passed by and nations were being conquered with the help of these curses, some were being saved with the help of Bribe in the right moment or a Urban Legends on the right person. Favorable winds, Flood and Black Death were also very important due to their uses and, obviously, Death Poker was still in great demand.

Bigger and more focused groups were formed to look and study the, still unknown, so-called Voodoo Cards or Voodoo Curses. One day, a strange sailor (which name has been erased from all the books we've encountered or every message he sent or received that we were able to read, not even a single letter could be read) approached a nobleman and, agressively, told him he was going destroy every ship that sailed too far away from the coast by Calling the Kraken and smashing every bit of ship. Obviously, the nobleman laughed, went his way and told the other men and women about this strange man and they all laughed because the Kraken was a mythological beast only answering to Davy Jones but... little did they know, he was being serious.
It was day 831, year 35 (b.C.J) and what happened that day changed they way we see the cards now. The strange sailor was found at the beach by some guards that slowly approached him since he was just laying there, looking at the sea and mumbling some words. Suddenly, a 2 HUGES tentacles came out of the water and started destroying everything that was not close enough to the shore. 2 more tentacles came out and these forced themselves onto the ships leaving the bay, rushing. Then 2 more tentacles appeared and rapidly pushed themselves towards the open-sea, away from the beach. Finally, the 2 last tentacles plus a giant octopus-monster like head emerged from the water and scared everyone in the city.
While this was happening, citizens were screaming, crying, hiding, not knowing if that would help them or not but still doing it. The sailor got stabbed by the guards and whatever he dropped was also retrieved. This was one of the biggest massacres and even know, people find wreckage of this day.
After the man was killed and every ship and boat destroyed, the Kraken submerged once again just to disappear with the help of the big waves he created.

Upon reaching the king's palace and taking a closer look, they saw something really similiar to what we know today as the Gris Gris, Voodoo Storm, Terrorize, Antagonize, another Call the Kraken alongside a Call Leviathan cards. They concluded that that man wasn't a simple sailor but he managed to, not only create but also use those same cards. How? ~~ You may ask. It's fairly simple, dear readers. He contacted Death himself, gave away his soul and promised many more, that's why he wanted to destroy those ships and kill every last person aboard them... to pay his debts.
How did they discover all of this? They played Poker with Death and question him. They didn't win but at least they found out they could create whatever they desired if only a huge amount of souls, including their own, were served. Then, Hostile Waters, Fugitive from Justice, Pirate Tales, even Countercurse and all others were created, only to be used in times of war, where the price could be easily paid.

This complex act, made possible the appearance of the famous Witch Doctors, They may not be humans anymore, living outside of what we call a town, alone, amongst the most vile insects and horrible smells, only farming cards, using an infinite number of Duplicate, Enlightened Vision and Insight.
They have their soul already sold so they only need to destroy everything on the outside, and because of their Mindbar always up, they are invincibles. Luckily for everyone else and Death himself (otherwise he would, once again, needed everywhere at the same time but if the payment was high enough, he wouldn't mind at all), there were not many people willing to destroy their own mind over this kind of power. There were still a few... but not that many.
