Old Guilds;New Direction?

Recently,not only have we witnessed the exchange of guild leadership to newer players from the veterans but we have also seen where guilds are now becoming less aggressive(exception to pirate guilds). Is it that with the old Sea Dogs stepping down these guilds have changed their style? Or could it be the evolution of Avonmora that has sparked such changes?

Old heads have left their guilds...desperate for revenge! Destine for new life....too much fighting or trading? (Head hurts thinking about these possibilities)
