On May 20th, 2016, 3,348 days ago, we brought you the tale of the mysterious island hidden for over 3,000 years in the Avonmora Ocean. Today, we return with startling new developments. What was once thought to have been an untouched cradle of ancient life and volcanic splendor is no longer forgotten. It has been claimed!

The Iron Presence
At sunrise, our crew aboard The Outlook’s Vision observed a shadow along the horizon. Through spyglass and shivering breath, we beheld an armada unlike any Avonmora has seen in living memory: Forty-five warships in formation, flagships adorned with obsidian-black sails, steel-clad hulls bearing crests of the unregistered Scotland sovereign order. The strongest ship in each fleet host a second flag with a cryptic insignia: a crimson circle pierced by a silver trident.
The fleet patrols in perfect silence. Our crew attempted peaceful signaling and received no reply outside of a dozen cannonballs, warning shots fired, landing mere meters from our bow. The message was clear: the island is now defended. In short order the fleet was upon us, as if guided by the spirit of the sea and wind, we were escorted out of the area by the lead ships.
After our brief encounter with the fleet we made way to the New Land State University to document the findings. Though not officially named, we have created a list of the lead ships from the force we have seen: a sailing fortress no doubt. While we hunt for the registration documents we documented the fleet number, ship number and type of ships that escorted us out of the area to the best of our ability.

The "Ghost Fleet" Theory Proven?
For years since the publishing of the original article, sailors have passed rumors of an elusive CJ setting up a guild and operating beyond diplomacy, beyond trade, even beyond war. The faction has the ability to reside nowhere and strike everywhere, some believe this is their fortress come to light.
Local lore also speaks of a curse. Whoever lays claim to St. Jack’s Point would awaken the guardians of Avonmora’s past. Whether voodoo, vengeance, or vigilantism, what now surrounds the island is a fortress at sea.
If this is indeed accurate, the implications are dire: A naval hideout defensible from all sides with firepower not unlocked by the strongest naval forces in Avonmora. This can spell problem for sailors on the high seas. How has this technology remain hidden for so long? How was it discovered? Is it possible they have access to historical secrets: maps, scrolls, and shipwright blueprints dating back to the First Age?
Guild leaders across the map are on high alert. Many have already issued advisories. Some speculate this move may precede a major event, using the island as a staging ground for a massive upheaval.

Final Clues… and Unanswered Questions
While being escorted away, we took one last sweep of the island’s shores through our spy glass and uncovered strange stone formations—each resembling massive mooring stones—likely ancient docking stations from the era when the legendary “#1 Ship” was said to be built here.
Could the occupying force be attempting to rebuild it?
And most shockingly, what of the inhabitants?
