Sell demolish buildings at the hideout

lets say someone built or upgraded a building he did not want or need and he wanted to use the field at some thing else we should have a an option to sell a building or decrease its level

This seems to me to be a 'needed' function, as several have started buildings that failed to meet expectations.

While not all the investment may be returned on the down-grade or de-construction, the frusration level of being stuck with something not wanted is reduced.

Aye, strongly agree with this as being 'needed' : field space is not cheap nor infinite : unless there is some future additional role for the workshop, for example, its a rather pointless and field-consuming building , in my view. I'd quite like that space back again.

I agree, this is needed. I have an expensive workshop that I want to demolish.

Demolishing a workshop sounds like a bad idea. Two more buildings are coming soon and these are Academy and Shipwrights. The lot required will be given automatically (+2 per mansion level as they are two buildings). So which is the point in destruction?

If you want to destroy goldsmiths, I would understand perhaps. Still, a demolish action should mostly be needed when you want to recover needed gold. Based on this necessity, the priority has been created. There is still plenty of gold in Avonmora so this is not as stressing. In the other hand, it is not a big issue in terms of implementation so we have increased the priority on this.

There is no estimated time. This is not finalized after all as there are pending details. We would first need to decide some things first. Like, if demolish would be instant or if it would need time. The latter seems to make more sense. Will it be possible when you construct something?
Also, we need to decide what percentage of level cost will be returned and in which form - probably gold coins.

I understand this is you suggestion and you want to see it fast. The best way to push it is to help with details.

Just a idea , i think to destruct something it should take time , but much less time then building it... Well maybe the gold coins will return and half the gold coins from the 3,300 gold bars you spent ( In order to upgrade level 1 mariner ) So a average of 6 M return... ( 1 Million for building costs and 5 million for half of the gold bars ) For a quotation of how it could be destroyed.... I am thinking it should say your best ship should reek havoc among-st it.It also should come up with a warning like this:

Warning! You are about to Demolish your level x Goldsmith/Mariner/Bank/Workshop < Which ever one you want to demolish. Are you sure you want to do this?

Yes, I have no choice / Hell No! Are you crazy?

For Example : Example for the actual demolish setence.

" Your Sloop "HMS Endeavor" opens fire on the Level 2 Private Mariner and within seconds the colums smash down , we managed to salvage a small amount of gold coins that we put into building this , therefore you get 6,000,000 gold coins! "
