You must not take advantage of any bug found. You have to report bugs immediately to game administration/forums.
1.Description of the bug
The check for 25 fame protection, only happened in plunder screen. Never in attack screen. In this sense, if player A entered protection at 23 points for example, in case the attacker would refresh his screen, then the attack would continue normally. Additionally if the attacker copied the attack url, he could attack again later, once the defending fleet would have the necessary danger.
2.What happened
A once big player entered the protection. Then two players, either by luck at that time or by knowledge at a prior time, found the bug. They took all 4 SoL ships and the MoW from that player. Then, one of the two players reported the bug. We also received reports from other players who utilized the report battle feature while some also opened a ticket. It is important for us that the player who exploited the bug, reported it first.
3.What we did
-We fixed the bug
-We reversed the ships to the player who lost them as he never should have lost them.Generally, anything lost to a bug is bound to reversal by administration.
-We banned the player that utilized the bug but not reported it.
-We warned the other player as despite his report, he still used the bug, something strictly forbidden. However, due to his honesty afterwards, we have decided not to ban him.
4.What we will do
Tomorrow we will check all battle reports in the last 6 months for players that have used this bug. If you are one of them, send a message to administration explaining why we should not ban you.
