Player Dev Team - Feniks & Other Updates

Ahoy!

First I would like to say that I appreciate the opportunity given to me by Captain Jack to lead the player dev team.

Additions to the Team:
I would like to announce and welcome a new addition to the player dev team: Feniks

Multiple and different points-of-view are important to development. It is easy to overlook or just plain not consider a point that could make or break a feature. Feniks addition to the Team adds to this collective.

Before speculation occurs, Feniks addition to the team was a consideration before the Flagships suggestion was even posted. His addition was not in anyway related to flagships.


Objectives & Goals

1) The Player Dev Team's primary objective has not changed: Reviewing Suggestions for Implementation

2) The team will however start to take on specific suggestions in effort to quicken the road to development. The first of this was set in motion by Captain Jack with Flagships. Additional suggestions will be assigned as both the team expands and suggestions are completed.

2a) Flagship has started with a rocky reception. To help get this rolling, I have tasked Feniks and Skyhawk to collaborate together and with the other team members to analyze the communities input and get Flagships completed.


Team Expansion

I'm currently looking for a minimum of 2 additional players to contribute to the player dev team. Please contact me in game via PM (#54689) if you are interested.


Pirates Glory Wiki
As CJ said, the Wiki is not a direct responsibility of the Dev Team. However, I have taken a major stake in getting it setup and running and have asked the members of the Dev Team to contribute to the Wiki when and where they can.

The wiki will be a repository of game information on Pirates Glory, an advanced help. To get the wiki to where it needs to be the information from the in-game help as well as data from the game and on the forums, needs to be collected and added to the wiki. This is a lot of work for one person to do. This is were the community is paramount.

All active community members can contribute to the wiki. Adding a piece of information here or updating a fact there, will help in getting the wiki complete. You don't have to be a major contributor. Small contributions by multiple community members will make a difference.

If you are interested in taking a considerable role with the wiki, please PM me in-game or Slack.
