How to report abuse

Postby Captain Jack » Wed May 16, 2012 1:03 pm

Greetings everyone,

We want to make sure this game will always be played fair and that all players will have this sense when playing this game.

For any abuse that falls into your attention, you can always send an email to webmaster@evdaimon.com OR an in-game message to #1 and declare your suspicions.

Also, we are open to suggestions on how to create transparent game reports that will help fight against any kind of abuse found in the game. An example is the yesterday implementation that shows latest battles in a port.

If you are aware of a certain tactic that is unfair, bring it on our attention through game discussion. If you even can think of a way of how this can be monitored/fixed, let us know with a suggestion topic in Suggestion forums.

Abuse incidents can be very few, like 1 per week or even more rare. Still, no matter the monitoring we do on the game, there might be cases that slip of our attention. It is fair to say, that all players are responsible in keeping the rules and also responsible to report abuse, even if it comes from one of their guildmates.

There will be little patience for abusers and we will not make exceptions for paying players.

We do not want trolling on the forums regarding these issues or any other issues either. Players found violating the trolling rule will be issued a warning. In the next repetition they will be banned for a week. At a 3rd repetition we will ban the account with no specific unban day, which can span from a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of permanent. The forums rule about Trolling has been updated to include the full definition of it, as described in Wikipedia.

I trust that the current playerbase of Pirates Glory is very solid and I can see little to no trolling in the forums. However as things get more tedious in the game, the forums might get more pressure too. We want to plan ahead and warn everyone about our strict policies.

Finally, I want to warn anyone that likes to bend the rules:
We want you warned. Rule violation punishments are harsh. There is constant monitoring too. And if you escape from us, rest assured that you will not escape from the rest of the fair playing playerbase. Rest assured that nothing will stop us from punishing an unfair action. Bend the rules and get banned. Play fairly and enjoy Pirates Glory.
