[Concluded] Forthcoming server Move

Greetings everyone,

The game has grown considerably in the last 2 months and current server is no longer enough for our needs. Therefore we will be moving to a new, bigger and better, dedicated server for our game.

The move will be seamless and the game will be interrupted only for about 5 minutes. You will be notified before hand for the move which will take place probably on Monday.

The new server is going to be more than enough for all our current and future needs and will considerably improve your gaming experience with even better response times.

I want to thank you everyone for your support.

I also want to reserve a special praise for all those that helped us financially lately, as they are the force that bring the game to this new and better server. From our part, we will continue development of the game at top speed.

We are ready to move the server. We will initiate it in about an hour.

The move may take from several minutes to several hours. We will try our best to have it running the least possible time.

During the move;
Your trade routes, your turns and everything will continue as normal.
You will not however be able to access the game.

It has been a very problematic move and this is why it took so many hours. Unfortunately we were not able to link it directly to an IP as we wanted at first place due to some game controls.

There might be a few players that will not be able to join for a few hours. To overcome this, try cleaning your DNS cache.
As a courtesy to these players, avoid attacking players with voodoo for the next 12hours. In case you are attacked by voodoo within this timeframe, contact the Game master at Administrator (#1)

It seems that the UPKEEP run prematurely today due to the move. This means that the normal time upkeep will not run today. The normal time will be assumed for tomorrow UPKEEP.

There is aporblem for google and facebook users. We are working on fixing this now. You may get a 502 bad gateway; just refresh.

Wednesday 25: the daily upkeep and fame calculation happened at 15:00. Port prices seem to have changed while the extra stock notice still says there are 9 hours to go.
