Deathmatch server and also a tournament server are ideas that can -and must- happen. Let's shape it to version 2.0 first though.

If you would like to help Pirates Glory with coding skills, the best you can do is to create tools for the game. Individually for what you prefer. Trading tools, combat tools, organization tools. Online tools are the best. The more tools, the better.

'I' suppose those tournaments and the rewards you get from that, will make the strongest and old players the strongest... The new players will get frustrated of the old players getting all the benefits and might stop playing the game...

My caution would be splintering the game base. The best part of this game is everyone is in the same ocean.

Stronger players tend to be cautious players (like pilots, old or bold) so really new players have a bit of an edge. I caused enormous crap my first month because I had nothing to lose.

Did I get frustrated about capital ships being hogged by older players? Yes, but with the anhilation of PK and the cheif horder Rolando, that is far far easier now. I see all kinds of new players now with impressive fleets right out of the gate. This did not happen in my day.

Having another server that will reset in a short amount of time (or at least short compared to this server) would be fun to mix things up with the guilds.

+1 Danger per hour, Danger drop per attack is halved to 9.

We are very proud of Janoh at JAM, The Professional Pirate Association. His scripts have already yeilded valuable information to the guild, and we are happy he is sharing his tools with the world.

Check them out and I hope it starts a trend.

Yeah losing ships is not a problem... What I say is that, suppose you are a strong player, you are constantly winning tournaments and getting rewards from them, then you will use that reward to get even stronger... The new players who have just started the game will think that while they are improving, you are also improving, keeping the gap between old and new players constant.... So no matter how long you play, the strong players remain strong, unless you are given help to surpass them, i.e. the players stronger than you are helping you to surpass them.... Most of them don't do that....
