FOX are bullies

Postby Jim Hawkins » Fri Jul 26, 2013 6:14 am

FOX I hope you are proud of yourselves. Kids play on this game and threatening to beat them up is despicable

Members of RUM! I am not one of you, but your enemies are mine as well. You face strong enemies, but now is not the time for surrender. Now is the time to rally! Scorched Earth policies, make them earn every inch, let no chance for counter strike pass, let any victory be bitter ashes in their mouth. Give them Hell! I will as well! It is better to die on your feet, then live in Fox on your knees.

This is how we treat bullies. Bullies are only any good in a crowd. If any FOX member attacks a RUM member. We will attack Juicy and Juicy alone. See how he like being picked on

this is technically true...

but i think you should consider this in context. most of Fox is themselves well under 18. they've made a niche for themselves by playing rather aggressively, and as such they have a relatively low turnover rate. and that is impressive because they've brought alot of part time pirates into the game.... because they're pirates, threats in general can be taken for granted....

just saying from someone who has been in PK for 99% of the fox pk conflict...fox has been "picked on" non stop for several months. if you read the forums you can even see the constant wave of threats and (mostly) generic insults and rudeness... in that context, fox has been targeted by bullying Very often, and they Are kids under your (Collier)'s very accurate standard of What Bullying Is.

the thing is, u gotta realize that 100% of fox is ALSO kids.. obsessed kids. who get kicks stabbing one needle at a time into the people who they have a GOOD REASON TO SEE as bullying them... a very basic example of this is Every New Fox member who starts to get active gets Jumped for several consecutive days/weeks generally until the kid moves on, specifically, Agrippa was still brand new to the game, and he got power jumped by someone who payed to play (several pay-ins at once) and in such a way that he had no chance of competing without busting out his parents credit cards... and seriously, credit card wars is Rarely a fun experience in any online video game savvy?

bottom line. Collier, you are correct. what juicy/roi posted qualifies as bullying... if it's said by someone with a SHM sized voodooo stack... but it isn't the same thing when it's said by adventurous young teenagers having a blast with camaraderie and an allowance pay-in every once in awhile.

look around the guilds for a second. RUM is falling apart just like CTC before it, there are maybe 2-3 active players with player numbers under 10,000. PK has completely replaced its rank and file and is now dominated by two players, specially a major pay to play, TMN is relatively non-interactive with the game world, ATC experiences a very high turnover.... Fox is the guild that is retaining new players..

as badly worded as what they said is. it is an obvious consequence of their circumstance.. and their willing to fight from the defensive is a great strategy for player retention. ....

now that ive rubbed fox's ego a little bit, lets make one thing clear about how i support the Other-Collier- side as well. Roi, Juicy... just like Achillies' near death experience... watch your mouth when your talking in public please. it would be much more tactful to be mailing your threats to established players who are prepared to do a full tit for tat engagement with what you're doing... those folk wud be better targets anyways...

I am sorry MAjesty but tact has gone out of the window. players are leaving because of the constant sniping from FOX. RUM was a trading company but as we know we expect attacks from pirates. All I am doing is retaliating to their threats. Juicy is established. People of all ages can be bullies and I won,t stand for it. All I want to do is trade. If RUM finished do you think they would say " thats ok we will trade now " NO they will pick on another weak target.

lets summarize this as comeuppance then. if juicy is attacking sort targets in RUM, and ur slamming him with comeuppance, more power to you

they definitely run the risk of poking themselves in the eyes when playing around with swords all willy-nilly like

Zombie, is it most of Fox or all of Fox that are kids, i merely ask because in one post you successfully mange to contradict yourself...

Playing aggressively would surely be, hitting a target hard and fast for the purposes of profit.
Playing threateningly would surely be leveling someone the ultimatum of join us or die?
And to that end i would agree with Rolando when he said, ' It is better to die on your feet, then live in Fox on your knees.'

Also i've got to pick up on this.....
You stated that Fox 'get kicks stabbing one needle at a time into the people who they have a GOOD REASON TO SEE as bullying them...'

Now Collier, please correct me if i'm wrong for i'm no member of RUM, but have RUM at any point bullied Fox, or indeed hounded it's new member till they move on?

If not then how are Fox as you put it Zombie, 'stabbing one needle at a time into the people who they have a GOOD REASON TO SEE as bullying them...'
For surely if that were the case they'd be going for PK, and leveling that threat at PK for i'm under the impression that is who you were inciting had been bullying Fox. From your post it more appears to be a case of, They hit us, so were hitting you... Which we all know, is nay the best way for a tide to move.

And what's the difference in the amount of voodoo someone has when leveling that ultimatum? Aye, more can be used to more devastating effects, but the actions behind it matter more, not on the size of the gun, or the power of the witch doctor, but on the very act itself of leveling such an ultimatum.

Also on an end note, Wasn't the person who 'Power jumped' Agrippa newer to the game than he was, the fact that he may have paid in is surely irrelevant, just means said player wanted a faster advancement through the game, that's why the system exists is it not?

About similar to your post i'd say, maybe one less paragraph.... But i look forward to your retort...
If they haven't then your justification is slightly skewed, for why they are now doing that there doing?

okok. lets focus on that small part of this. SHM is the Iconic Voodoo God in this game. very few people wud mess with SHM under any circumstance, because his credits already spent, not to mention hypothetical future credits wud allow him to wield 600+ turns every day and the voodoo to exploit that 600 turns most efficiently. but also continue doing that for multiple days... and this is alone, not counting his friends. if he were to fire 99% of his performance capability at Any player, it would meet the definition of bullying...even if it was someone who did something especially feax paus, if he did it for 2 weeks consecutive the common sense retort would be "jeez dude, ur overdoing this.. chill out" the way this applies is that Fox has encountered a similar situation. they start from a lower level cuz they have been in and out of conflicts for months, but neither roi nor juicy has particularly alot in the order of credits on demand... but for several months they have been hammered by rolando/princess and anything they could convince pk members to cast on their behalf.. but before the attack on agrippa rolando was already launching into that 99% mode i expressed before. which is cool, rolando is swinging around an epic visa shaped sword.. but foxes options are to attack the fellows in PK who are legit raiding targets and see little return on the venture (but gaining enemies in game) attack the people battling with credit buys and see Zero return.. or gather cash however possible. it allows them to raid and gather resources amidst the onslaught.... all u can do when ur being dumped on 99% style for an extended period of time...

ironically the efficient action! mentality engendered in these frequent defenses is gaining enemies and binding people to the game in the name of revenging the clowns who attacked them 3 days into joining PK..
