Emily suddenly realizes something that Carl is no longer in the tower. A loud shrill sound is heard, and Emily looks horrified, quickly bolting to her crystals. Brian follows behind and they find Carl trying to smash one with a hammer. Emily quickly has a golem tackle him, Brian looks to him quite hurt.

Carl, you were a traitor, you were like a brother to me.

Emily takes a longer look before dispelling the illusion. It's some strange looking man. He laughs as the golem pins him.

Old carl is currently having a little vacation in a prison. Good luck finding him.

The man rams his head into the ground killing himself. Brian ask who could have took him. Emily thinks for a moment, remembering what Veera said last night, and she suddenly looks completely outraged and shouts a string of curses.

Veera you no good 2 timing-UUUUURGH. She must have done it when we were dealing with that Nelly girl. That's it. I won't kill her, but I'm going to lock her up and throw away the bloody key. Give me a second. I'm making a portal to her now. Thank god the crystal isn't damaged.

Jack sends word to his second in command that he's got to leave and to send his wife word that'll he'll back soon.

Agnar had trouble sleeping, but as he wakes up and decides to leave his tent, he remembers to pack is weaponry. He's going to pay Emily a visit to thank for the help with the mutineers.
