Jack nods

Aye. Sending that ugly tub to the depths is an excellent idea.

Jack looks around at all the leaders

Thank you mates, I couldn't have done it without you. This raid, despite it's problems, went exceedingly well. I owe you all a drink.

Jack looks to Carl

See you back at the ships Carl.

Jack looks at his men as they march forward.

Keep alert lads. Dreadbolt's men may be hiding in the jungle. We'll probably easily shoot them down if they try anything stupid but let's be careful all the same.

Carl quickly set's sail, full speed back to the ships. Brian marches along with Jack, his hand on his weapon and his eyes scanning the jungle.

They march uneventfully for three days, taking rest when needed. They reach the ships at about 8 P.M. on the third day. Jack sighs with relief

Well. I'm glad nothing awful happened on our march back. Time to go home.

They load things onto boats and go back to their ships. They remove the gold from the brigs and put some on each ship. Jack lets everyone know that he plan is to distribute the shares once they're in port. They then begin preparing the ships to sail.

Carl and Brian follow along, though they quickly sink Dreadbolt's before sailing after Jack.

Jack chuckles as Dreadbolt's ship sinks beneath the waves.

Won't be missing that ugly thing anytime soon.

Jack sets a course for Tortuga and goes to bed. When the ships arrive in port they are greeted with a salute from the heavy fort. The Governor, a tall man slightly older than Jack waits on the docks for the commanders to arrive.

Carl and Brian dock at the port, both men step off their ships and give a polite nod to the governor. Brian stepping up to speak as he waits for the other captains

Ahoy, not sure if we met, but I'm Brian Panselo, and this is my co-captain Carl Carlson.

The governor shakes hands with the both of them individually

Glad I could meet you fine gentleman.

The other captains arrive and the men crowd the docks behind them. Jack steps forward, dressed in his best set of clothes, his hat under his arm. The Governor says:

Gentleman, you have done us a great service and we are in your debt. We now no longer fear a serious power unbalance in these waters because of your bravery. For your services to the crown you shall have nearly all the prize money obtained on this voyage, as well as free repairs whenever you visit a British port. Is there anything else I can do for any of you gentleman to repay our heavy debt of gratitude to you? Perhaps a ship or a modest estate?

Carl nods as he steps forward

Glad to help. I could use a new good warship since I lost mine during the raid- meanwhile Brian here would gladly like to open up a new orphanage in port. Sad thing about war, tends to make quite a few orphans. I'd like the ship to be a war or flag galleon, but I'll take anything of a similar size and rating. Oi Jack, let's go on to the tavern after we finish up and have some rounds. First one is on me!

The governor snaps his fingers and whispers something to an aide. The side walks off

A flag galleon will be ready shortly Captain Carlson. As for you Captain Panselo, there’s good building a few miles from here that you can use. We’ll help out in any way we can.

The governor looks at jack

You still want those books?

Jack nods. The governor smiles

Well gentlemen, I believe you’ve earned some rest. Get too it!

He walks off leaving jack and the others alone. Jack says

Let’s go to the Boar’s head Inn. They’ve got the best food and drink in Tortuga,

The 2 men nod Brian shouts to one of his men

Bob, write up a letter back home, tell them we got a new orphanage set up, and to send in a few folks to help run it. Then get yourself some food and drink.

The 2 men then head to the Boar's head Inn, Carl talking on the way

Those books must be pretty special if you chose them as a reward Jack.
