well surely u remember our extended discussion on this subject... i actually think this is one of the first reasons i got banned or warned or somehow sanctioned....

i do maintain that levi is an OP card even with the 18 cost.

since i was viciously over-ruled. why wouldn't i take advantage of this broken broken card...it's also one of the few voodoo god instruments ive been happy to reach out for.

we gotta use the tools we have... im merely doing the same that im coming against =)

let me extend... there is little room for movement and adjustment of strategy in my current under-extended-attack status.

first and foremost, this fight was brought to me, i certainly didnt get a chance to prepair for it.. the players in questions were openly my friends cheering me on as i sold my ships, and then holding their hands out when i was handing out my treasures... and then they attacked something like a day later.. less i think.. my point being i didnt expect to be doing battle with my closest friends, immediately after trusting them with my Most Powerful Ships.... so i have limited ship to ships options

second, i have limited voodoo, i do like this game but im generally against shelling out huge sums of money, especially when another player has proven willing to purchase voodoo in enormous denominations Just to keep up the onslaught of voodoo... it's not worth paying into that when u can evade it cleverly....

third. they were absolutely jerks to do what they did, and as such i will punish them as resources permit... and leviying their most precious ships just seems like common sense...

finally, ur right in general Sparrow, but not in context. this move makes the most sense considering what is against me and what is available to me....

you shud get the whole picture about a conflict before throwing out the n word

I fail to see what Voodoo gods have to do with this entire debate, and it appears you skirted most of what i presented in favour of attempting to use this one argument? Logically if anyone hammered anyone for 2 weeks straight regardless of having a monumental amount of turns or voodoo, you stop and go, hold up, "Why are you hammering them so hard, is it justified?". If they feel there hammering is justified and they can present a logical argument as to why, then i fail to see the problem... If someone had hammered me when i started playing, if it hadn't forced me away from the game, then i may have very well spent my entire life in Avonmora, with no other goal than eradicating them from the annuls of history.

Raid other targets would be fair enough, you have to fund your war effort somehow, but leveling an ultimatum of join us or die on to an entire guild isn't fair enough, that's just uncalled for. And that's not as you previously stated, enjoying sticking it to those who stuck it to them....

Who else was he supposed to target, another voodoo god so the playing field was even? But then they would have had better fleets than him so the playing field still would not have been even, a player that had been around longer, that would seem fair would it not, and had Agrippa not been around longer?

I don't want to persist but you clearly don't understand what I am implying. I will simply tell that it is the game style that defines the need of voodoo and not the other way around.

and the needle i was talking about. Fox tends to repurpose their raid money to attack princess rolando in very small deeply penetrating raids.

this is why the voodoo engine rolando is running vindicates fox's hit and run strategies.

and to a lesser but equally violent nuclear assaults.

Ok the first part of your second one makes little sense, your implying they have had a voodoo god of sorts for several months, what happened, he decide to leave them.... I'm assuming you meant hitting them for several months.

There a raiding guild, surely that's the price you pay, eventually all the people you raid will come after you, and if they choose to bring their entire armada and the armadas of their friends and allies then so be it. By choosing to raid you choose to walk a path that very well could lead to your complete annihilation, it's the price of a pirates life.

I'm not disputing attacking out in any direction, in fact i agree with it after all, their a raiding guild, you have to fund your war effort somehow..
The bit i disagree with, is leveling an ultimatum of join us or die, that isn't merely raiding for profit, or to fund a war effort.

You've successfully bought up voodoo gods, PK v Fox, and possibly other bits i've missed... so congratulations.

But i feel you missed the point, the whole point of this forum, was the fact that Fox leveled that ultimatum of join us or die, which just doesn't fly...

i refer to thee very top where i pointed out that they both ought to watch their words. also, in general they have had very above the board behavior, but have become more.. aggressive since the voodoo hammering started. as such, it's predictable that they would lash out in a fashion like this under their current financial situation.
