(Legendary) Pirate's Bay

Card Rarity: Legendary
Type: Enchantment, Port
Duration: 24H
Turns Cost: 20
Description: Sailing to the Pirate's Bay is a dangerous business. Every fleet arriving at this port gets +1 Danger (in addition to the "normal" +1 Danger for arriving at port). A player may only have one active "Pirate's Bay" at any time, although several players can cast "Pirate's Bay" on the same port.
Required Ingredients:
5 Hostile Natives
3 Fugitive from Justice
3 Spy Network
1 Pirate Tales
Crafting Duration base cost: 48 H
I have long thought about ways to make a specific port more dangerous, but it always seemed too powerful. I thought about other, more elaborate options to achieve this with reduced power, but when I noticed that "Legendary" cards will come, I thought this simple approach might fit. Note that since the curse is on a port, it will be more difficult to notice, you can't tell who cast it (although you can often guess it), and it's impossible to remove.

I like the idea to a degree, but maybe making it to where it stacks, seems a bit much. I mean what if a powerful nation like Spain, have their top 5 or so members, use this on another nations port, that would be crippling to that nation and its port, also when casted it should be shown in global events, so that it wont take people by surprise. but I do like the idea as a whole.

+1 but i feel like you should make the Crafting duration longer.

Meliva: Since one card only gives +1 danger, you'd need 2 players to cooperate to get +2 danger, and be allowed to plunder any ship arriving in the port, which is the idea behind the card. Thus, it must be allowed to stack. In order to be able to attack every fleet MORE than once, you'd need 20 cards (since one attack removes 18 danger), which I'm certain is not worth the effort. Also, since it's only one pr. player, that would require 20 different players casting on the same port.
Guluere: I'm sure there are many here with a better ability than me when it comes to determine what a "correct" price would be in terms of resources and time. If you think it should require more time, I guess maybe it should.

Description:
The port is has a blowout sale on crates of Bannana's
-3 less per crate during cards effect
The catch is these crates are bargain priced because they are infested with poison spiders.
Spiders that cause injury and panic among the crew. Fleets leaving this port arrives in destination port with +3 danger.
Affects any fleet that loads cargo from market in affected port while this card is in affect.
Required Ingredients:
-3*hostile natives
-2*west india co.
-1*potatoe party
Crafting Duration base cost: 48 hours (or 288 turns)
I gave this card a long crafting duration to limit it usage
- it is a chaotic / random fun card.
It could be used offensively by pirates, however they would need to find the correct destination ports.
It could be used by merchants on other merchants to draw attention away from their own activities
It could be used by merchants who want to risk the danger to get very cheap prices on crates of food.

NOTE - suggest a notification displays on market page for the affected port while card is active.

NOTE - it this were implemented it should have a casting limit, of how often it can be cast per port per x amount of time.
NOTE - this may affect active crew count if that becomes part of the combat system

What about during this event manually buy bananas:) and put them in your warehouse? no need to worry about danger points basically 3x stackable west india card.

change banana's in sheep or goat and i am game. These beast will stink so much that the presence of a sheep transporter is smelled for miles. hence the lowered fitness report of the crew.

LOL - perhaps there should be card of this sort that lowers danger as no one wants to raid the stinky ships

Interesting card for sure. But I do think that any voodoo that affects such a large amount of people, and most probably bystanders is too OP, and unfair.
Maybe if it worked like a terrorize where it only attaches to one player it would be a +1 from me.

On a side note. Nice and creative idea on those banana spiders. Seems like you are talking about the Brazilian wandering spider. Quite the menacing bite.
