All buildings are at least 1 star. I have 2500 acres, 50 in each building and 10 in guardhouses and rest are fields.

Its been 10 days since they produced anything....was told to bug it and have CJ look at it so here is the report.

Approx. 1/3 of your acreage should be devoted to infrastructure and your population should be around 1300 workers/acre. How you balance out your infrastructure allotment is yours to discover. Everyone is a little different.
As you increase your workforce and infrastructure, it takes more infrastructure improvements to get building stars. The more people, the more gold bars needed.
Right now, your workers are too spread out in the field to get any work done but they work hard to accomplish nothing and tire themselves out

Don't have guardhouses, it sucks up a lot of your workers, and it currently does nothing.

Neither comment addresses the fact that he has zero production.
Whilst probably good advice it doesn't address the "bug"
I've seen the plant stats in guild chat and it should be a producing plantation, it isn't. thus the report

Please check your plantation permissions.

If you have no plantation permissions your workers will not produce.

i see you got most of your workers up for sale. i wonder if the ones listed there actually work or not? turn off selling to see if its the case

I took the workers off the sale block. Had 100k in reserve but, I think its the permissions thing. I don't have permission anymore because the port changed hands.

As you have an Operating Permission, Fertile Lands should still work and I assume, produce goods according to CJ if I understood him correctly.
Try a fertile lands card and see if you start producing on that 500 acres or, any increase of production. Your worker numbers were suite for a 500 acre plot and let us know pls.

No operating permission = No fields production.

Operating permission is not affected by port ownership changes, only by time, once issued.
