i believe i am quiting the game i dont want ot just trade that gets boring quick and every time i try to do any plunder for captains rank all i run into is 5 level 10 ships i have ot fight with. how the hell can you beat that. it would take me so many millions to get a fleet good enough to do that. i just lost over a million dolloars in ships just trying to beat 2 people to become captian. that pretty much makes me feel like i wasted a bunch of time. i know this is probably just me. but i wanted to say something cause it might be happening to other new players also. thanks for the bit of fun

In a short answer, the more ships you got, the stronger the opponent ships are. You can weaken them by using Pacifism.

i have only attacked npc's they still spawn at insanely powerful levels that less then 100 people in this whole game can beat them, i tried it in the begining also attacking the npcs they were so powerful i just went top merchant status. then while trying ot get captain rank the npc spawned even more powerfully, and i cant use voodoo on npc's so that kind a silly suggestion. and if i use voodoo on a nation, then i am just setting myself up for ruin again. how could i ever on take 5, level 10 large frigates . there is no way

just tried again used pacificm. just lost a whole fleet, still could not beat the npc ships. you can see in my battles how many ships i have lost today and over million in cash, it is not very fun to loose everything in a day, especially since i have spent the past 2 months trying ot get into the top 100 and now i find out it doesnt even matter.

ummm those arent bugs or typos, so u should probably talk about it in a different section...but besides that, were u using ships that logically should beat them? if not....wel...thats y u lost...

i underdstand that panda, what i am saying i have never seen an npc fleet spawn for me that wasnt insanely powerful, like level 10 everyingthing. not once has there been an easy npc fleet not even when i first started. and i will stop posting in this section

guy... it's totally possible to take on the NPCs at virtually any level of play... odds are very likely ur using weak boats, undercrewed boats, or undercannoned boats. for example if ur hitting him with level 10 hawkers, u shouldn't be expecting to win...

i understand that also, before i lost them i had 2 large frigates and was gettinga third one, they should have been able to take on stuff very easy, i can see now that i am wrong and everybody else likes it this way so i will just find something else to enjoy. i do thank you for the responses though

guy... alot of people don't like it this way. im louder in the forum then most, but plenty of people have their concerns. just msg me in game arite? it would be easier to explain the problem in a line by line conversation then just hearing ur frustration.. just based on wut ur saying, i suspect u hit the npc fleet with 2 lvl 1 boats... but if u were hitting higher level boats, especially larger groups of them... yea they're gonna lose....
