I was going to put this in the newbie thread but I thought this would be easier to break out. I just started and after doing the handful of tutorial quests, it basically left me to my own devices. I have no idea where to even start, the tutorial didn't really set me up for success. Looking for some insight on how to get up and running here quickly.

This is what you should do:

A) Do the tutorials
B) Join a guild
C) Ask guild mates for advice
D) Listen to that advice

Offensive voodoo is not nice. I think the voodoo should be more polite!

Banger, also use chat and find what you enjoy in the game. Some enjoy building wealth or building specific ships or fighting other players or fighting computer fleets. There are many ways to enjoy the game so figure out what you like. Do talk with other players, as most of us enjoy that aspect and learn a lot from that (especially from the beginning of playing the game).

Offensive voodoo can often times be confused for defensive voodoo. I think we need an experts advice on what is considered only offensive voodoo.
